Langsat Park

Sometimes we are so busy with work that it is very difficult to have time for a vacation. For example, I very rarely go on holiday out of town because I'm too busy with my work. Because of this, I sometimes feel bored and need refreshing. Actually, we don't need to go out of town to just get rid of boredom because sometimes there are beautiful and quite comfortable places nearby. Recently I visited a park not far from where I live. The name of this park is Langsat Park. This park went viral among young people around the area where I live. This is my third time visiting this park.

This park is quite large and has many facilities such as a jogging track, tennis court, children's play area and also a lotus pond. The jogging track is quite long, I once jogged in this park with two of my friends. Apart from that, this park has a large grass area and is often used as a place for picnics with friends and family. Usually they will spread out mats and bring food supplies.

Apart from lots of trees, this park also has a small river in the park. Then there is an artificial lake filled with lotus plants. But unfortunately because this is the dry season, now the lake water has dried up and the lotuses have died. Even though usually this lake is the most beautiful part of the park.

This park is also friendly for children. They provide a play area for children next to the tennis court. So, local people can invite their children to play in this park. Not only for children, this place is also friendly for elderly people who want to just walk or cycle.

For me personally, I usually come to run in the morning or just sit under a tree while enjoying the beautiful view. Even though I live in a big city full of tall buildings, there are still lots of green trees that can be seen, for example in this park. To be honest, with this park, I feel somewhat grateful because even though I can't go on holiday outside the city, I can still see beautiful views. It's quite refreshing every time I visit this place. To be honest, I was a little disappointed the last time I visited, because I couldn't see the lotus flowers in the lake because the water had dried up. But it's okay because I can still breathe fresh air while watching a group of swan around.

By the way, events are often held at this place. Events such as flora and fauna exhibitions. This place is also a place for cultivating king palm trees. It's not surprising that there are many palm trees around the park.

I think that's all I can discuss about this park. For friends who live around South Jakarta, if you have never visited this Langsat Park, I suggest you try visiting it once. Because I think this place is very suitable for a little refreshing just to relieve fatigue from working.
