Hello, friends especially foodies!

Last week was our public long holiday in my country so besides doing crafts at home, sometimes we went to the mall, like what we did last Thursday. Last Thursday we went to one of the popular mall in South Jakarta. There, they had a popular food court which you should go before dine in time, if you ask me why? This is because it is so popular so that it even has customers (sometimes lots) not in the dine in time, so if you come at 12 pm for the lunch, it would be late because their large grand dining area might be full of customers.

On Thursday we arrived there at around 11 am, here was the food court gate

Looked luxury for a food court? No wonder, this is one of the best we have!

We passed through some restaurants and stalls, the front left was asian food area, mostly there were Japanese food stalls.

The stalls looked lux too, right? And look at those line up customers.. Like it told you, you must come early if you want to have your dine in there.

Their interior had a touch of gold glam through their marble floor and furnish. Well organized, clean, neat and of course, you could enjoy the luxury dining experience in the food court. Could you imagine that?

They had iconic gold pillars in the centre (bottom right picture), dimmed yellow light, soft sofas and chairs. They also had some cleaning staffs around.. You could really feel the luxury dining experience of a food court there! I always love their surrounding, so cozy! It should be a nice place to dine in plus have a chit chat with your family or friends…

Then we came to the food stall where we bought our lunch, one of our favorite Japanese teppanyaki brand. There were some customers before us.

The menu that this stall had was simple, they only had kind of Japanese teppanyaki set, from slice beef, squid, fish fillet (dori fish), prawn, chicken, sirloin, tenderloin, seafood combo, beef or chicken and seafood combo, salmon & squid, salmon & chicken, salmon & beef, salmon & prawn or just salmon. The drinks they offered were just tea, water, lemon tea, green tea. They also sold extra rice, extra soup or extra veggies. They also had new rice bowls with the choices of beef or chicken with eggroll. And they also had chicken or beef dumplings too (that time only plain that available, they didn’t have the fried ones).

There we ordered and paid, mom was waiting in the chair while the seller processed it (the chef was on the left, cooked the teppan we ordered, while the cashier, prepared the miso soup and also rice).

After sometimes of waiting, here was our lunch..

We ordered two packages of their sliced beef teppanyaki packages and a side dish, chicken dumplings. They looked so great and yummy, plus they smelled so good too. But how about the taste & flavour?

Now let me tell you first about their SLICED BEEF TEPPANYAKI packages

Each package would contained a portion of rice, a portion of miso soup, sliced beef teppanyaki, some stirred veggies (green ones named pakchoy and beansprouts), and tofu on top. The sliced beef weren’t many that time, they made it less maybe because its’ price was high during the holiday. The sliced beef were quite soft with sweet savory authentic teppanyaki flavour, the veggies were too much for me, the veggies had light natural flavour, so I usually blended it with my beef teppanyaki. The tofu on the top also had no flavour plus their miso soup had no seaweed and tasted less tasty than the original miso flavour. The one that never changed was their beef teppanyaki flavour, it always taste delicious, oishii!

Besided our main dishes, we also ordered their CHICKEN DUMPLINGS, it was our first time ordered it and our expectation was not too high but..

We were wrong, they could serve the best tasty legit chicken as the filling of the dumplings with good smell of the sesame oil.. their skins weren’t thick and it also tasty, it served warm and soft. They also gave the super spicy, sweet and sour sauce to accompany it, perfect. So it was beyond our expectation, their dumplings were SUPER!

For the lunch we had we paid 123,500 IDR or around 8.5 USD, and with this amount of money you could taste their oishii Japanese beef teppanyaki plus super tasty dumplings.
