Hello, friends especially foodies!

Last Sunday, after had gone to the church together, i had quality time with my bestie. After the church it was almost 1 pm and i was starving and with the recommendation from my bestie, we went to a Taiwanese authentic street food seller, not for having their crispy XXL chicken but my bestie (whom i call sister) recommended us to have their new menu, salad wrap. I was surprised that they had salad wrap now, but it was great because salad is much better than crispy chicken and it was also their new menu.

Oh no! when we arrived to Shihlin, the outlet was full.. So we needed to line up before we could reach the cashier table and order.

When we reached the cashier table and asked for the new menu then i know that the new menus that they offered were taco (which already sold out), surprice bowl and of coure salad wrap.

Beside they also had their XXL chicken and some other fried snacks, of course.

The dining area they had was small, with not many chairs and tables there. Lucky for us there was a small table for us to sit. But it became a mess cause no space to sit for my chair so we decided to move to the other table and fortunately we got it.

Even the place was small but we still could do chit chat there and we were waiting for a long time to finally get my bestie's name called which means our order was done.

After 30 minutes of waiting, these were our wraps. Wrapped with a paper.....

A bit blurred but here it was how the wrap looked...

Inside it contained kind of letucce, a bit chicken, tomato's skin in a wrap. Of course it also had dressing which had tasty medium sweet and sour flavour. So fresh and tasty! The minus one only it was so difficult to eat the wrap, it made my face a bit messy, oh no!

Beside the wrap, after strolling around and shopping, i became hungry again while my bestie would like to have her favorite avocado coffee. So then we went to a coffee shop.

The coffee shop name was Excelso. A local famous brand for coffee shop. And when we reached the coffeeshop at around 4 pm, woah it was full too. You could see how popular this café is!

Like you could see, their dining area was full of people. Some messy left tables still not yet cleaned up because the people had just gone. But we didn’t want to sit there.

Lucky for us that they still got some tables inside..

Well even when the café's large dining area was almost full, the environment was still comfy and nice, not noisy and could be a nice place to chit chat and have a tea time.

The menu that this café provided were many.

Started from coffee, they had their classic collection such as espresso, double espresso, americano, cappuccino, toraja cappuccino, café latte, café mocha, cappuccino on the rocks, and caramel cappuccino. They also had tasteventure which performed pistachio latte, green mint coffee, white chocorange frappio, mangococo frappio and trio frappio. Don’t forget for the tasteventure series they also had food like dory mangut, sweet potato balls, chicken parmigiana, mbe chili paste shrimp and chopdon chicken.
Still they offered coffee with their signature coffee like luwak coffee 100% arabica, house blend, java arabica, toraja lanang coffee, gold robusta, Mandheling Sumatran, Toraja Kalosi, Brazilian santos and Colombian Supremo. While their signature drinks included aromatic spices tea, magic purple, ini teh kopi? (coffee and tea in a glass), cendol latte, rante karua latte, sparkling lemonade coffee, virgin yellow mojito, sparkling yuzu jasmine, mega mocha shake, mango tango smoothies, mocha jelly shake, avocado coffee and durian coffee.
They also still had ultimate frappio coffee and non coffee such as cookies and cream, aren, nutty, choco chip, caramel jelly, melba, matcha pearl, thai tea pearl, and summer over snow.
And they also had some tea selection and other drinks too.

For the food,

they had crispy cassava, banana wraps, beef nachos, chicken mushroom quesadilla, seafood sampler, French fries, truffle fries, cheese crust, truffle cheese crust, mixed sampler, walik tofu, crispy chicken wings, shrimp tofu and crispy cireng.
They also had salad, with the choices of chef’s salad, tuna salad, and oriental chicken salad.
They had two kind of sandwich, tuna and signature club sandwich.
They still had spaghetti and fettucine pasta in carbonara, blackpepper chicken and Bolognese.
For the main dishes, they had lemongrass chili paste dory rice, dory en oats, lemon butter dory, chili fried dory, tek tek fried noodle, village fried rice, rice noodle with seared duck, rice noodle with seared duck, seared salmon with Balinese sauce, seared duck breast taichan, dabu dabu chili paste seared salmon, and betutu chicken.

We had lots of fun that day!

The beverages we had came first after we waited for around 30 minutes, while my bestie chose her favorite avocado coffee, I chose the healthy low calories one, my favorite chamomile tea.

My food then finally coming after around 20 minutes later, here it was. Yes, it was their signature club sandwich. One of my favorite since I was in junior high school..

And now let me tell you about the taste and flavour of what i had

SIGNATURE CLUB SANDWICH

Their big and healthy sandwich included grilled chicken slices, smoked beef, sliced hard boiled egg, sliced onion, sliced juicy tomato, and crispy lettuce. The vegetables were fresh, the smoked beef tasted savory while the chicken was light savory. Served with tasty crunchy but soft French fries, no wonder this has been my favorite since I was in the junior high school. Hmm, yummy!

CHAMOMILE TEA

Made from the real chamomile flowers, the chamomile tea was natural and pure. It had pure original flavour of chamomile, without any ingredients added. It was soothing and relaxing, a remedy to calm and relieve anxiety. I loved the relaxing effect on me.

And the conclusion, after I went to both places, I recommend you to come to both places to try their salad wrap and sandwich!
