Italian Snack Time - A Foodie Review

Hello, friends especially foodies!


Recently mom and I had our snack time in one of the oldest pizza restaurant in my country, this time we had our snack time in of their branch which was located on UG floor, not far from one of their East lobby.

This restaurant had a quite large dining area which awkwardly, the waitress didn’t let us to sit a bit far away from the others, so they like centralized the customers in an area near them. A bit impolite because everywhere usually the customers are kings, right? But ok that was fine, we then moved inside, to the area they delivered us to. The dining area had dimmed light, but it also got the sunshine from their big windows. It had a modern homy interior with a touch of wood natural color. Quite comfy actually but I preferred private far away distance from other customers.


Now let me share to you about their menu..

There they had quite many dishes.

They had the red white (our country flag color) menus like pizza, drink, and ice cream choux (OMG I wanna try it, maybe on my next visit, I didn’t realize it when we were there). They also had some new pasta menu like salmon mentaiko, green chilli squid, creamy truffle and some others. They also had some promotion on pan personal pizza all flavour at one price, 40K IDR each. There you could also choose their totally economic package with only 35K IDR per person to get a main dish and a beverage (the choices were limited). For their normal menus, they had appetizers like chicken wings, chicken chunks (I must try it next time), chicken royale (what are these?), garlic bread, sausage pastry roll, some kind of our favorite bruschetta, garlic cheese bread, cheese rolls and puff pastry mushroom cream soup. They also still had some with cheese like nacho cheese, puff cheese, even potato wedges and choco puf plus their new cheese martabak pizza (weird, isn’t it?).


For the pizzas there they had splitza (a pizza with two kind of toppings). The variants of flavour they had were meat lovers, cheese burger, frankfurter BBQ, meat monsta, veggie garden, cheese lovers, super supreme, pepperoni, and tuna melt.

They also had some pasta and rice menus, with the pasta choice of beef spaghetti, creamy beef/chicken classic fettuccine, tuna aglio oglio, black pepper chicken fettuccine,oriental chicken spaghetti, cheese beef fusilli, beef lasagna, while for the rice they had black pepper chicken, meatballs beef mushroom sauce and oriental chicken.


There they also had limo pizza (a meter length), cold drinks, hot drinks and even desserts!

After ordered, the plate and bowl for salad and soup came, there we could take the soup and salad by ourselves, while they were processing our favorite beef bruschetta. The soup of the day that day was creamy chicken soup. I also took some garlic bread as the companion.

Here was their salad bar, we could choose what we like there.

They had some kind of veggies, fruits, jelly, elbow macaronis, egg, potato, with the choice of dressing mayonnaise or thousand island. Usually they had red kidney beans but that day they changed it to edamame.


Here what we had for our snack time there that day..

They were soup of the day, creamy chicken soup, then salad, with beef bruschetta.


And now let me share how did they taste.. First I would share about their soup, CREAMY CHICKEN SOUP.

It had thick creamy soup with a bit chicken and corn. It had savory spicy peper flavour, I bet they put too much pepper on the soup .


Next we also had their SALAD.

We had many veggies like lettuce, carrot, green bean, sweet corn.. and also we had their fruits like papaya, watermelon, jellies, apples, potato and macaroni. They put some in mayonnaise in their salad bar so no wonder we got much dressing in our bowl. It had tasty fresh flavour, a mixture of sweet, sour and a bit savory.


Last but not least, we had their BEEF BRUSCHETTA.

It had crunch soft texture of roasted bread with the beef corn toppings with thousand island dressing, so perfect cause it had a mixture flavour of savory, sweet and also sour. Served warm it was easily to get cold, but we still love it. One of the best you could taste was there.


For our snack time we paid 79,001 IDR or just around 5.3 USD, still affordable, I think.
