You are viewing a single comment's thread:

What methods do you use to search for information within the ecosystem?

It’s a nightmare for new users—I mean finding specific information within the ecosystem.

There's a search button at the top right of the INLEO interface.

If you want more specific information, I guess, it's true it'll be hard to find what you want. Just ask, and people might guide you.

Where is the best place to ask people? I tried doing it on Telegram, but the activity there is low.

Just make a thread about it. If you want the INLEO team to see it, have the #feedback tag somewhere in the thread. Use the tag #askleo and #newbie too, it might help.

Many of us explore the Latest section of the feed, so people will see your question and will try to answer it.

Good use of labels is the key to successful interactions most of the time.

What are you searching for?

Social interactions, norms, the functioning of the anti-bot system—I mainly want to understand the social structure.

anti-bot system??
Say what you want and be free!

No one owns us. The social structure is what we make it!

Bots get ignored and go away.

Do what you want. No one controls you.

Ignore those you don't want to engage with.
This is decentralized freedom.

I’ve come across articles where users complain about being attacked with downvotes on every post. I want to understand how this works. What happens with abuses from both sides?

Social norms??? Like only smite goblins on Tuesdays?

For example, there was Mickey Mouse, and he behaved badly on the platform. Then someone creates account, and they’re labeled as Mickey. They’re told, “Prove you’re not Mickey, or we’ll downvote every post.” Is this decentralization?

This is a significant aspect. There are whales with substantial capital and influence in the ecosystem, and there are thousands of newcomers whose votes have little to no impact. I find this fascinating.

you can search all of InLeo with the search bar.
What are you looking for?

Perhaps someone has already written an in-depth study of the social structures within the ecosystem. I would be interested in reading and delving into the topic.

No one has.
What are you asking EXACTLY???
don't beat around the bush ask your question.

Many of us have been here for many many years and what you are asking is way to vague

I thought I asked a fairly specific question; I apologize if I wasn’t clear.

I want to study the social aspect of the entire Hive ecosystem. I’m particularly interested in the sociology of this project.

Hive has different Social aspects then InLeo does.
You would have to go ask Hive people but they are an ever shrinking group to be certain.

You mentioned that the Hive audience is constantly shrinking. What are the underlying reasons for this?
What are the social differences between Hive and Leo?

I tried searching for research articles here using the search system, but it didn’t yield any results.

I know there are people who collect blockchain statistics—perhaps someone is gathering sociology data as well.

Nope.
I have never heard of that on our chain.
we have been around for 8 years and no one has ever talked about that.
We are free and do what we want.

If everyone did whatever they wanted, there would be chaos. Not all people are the same. Anyway, thank you. I’ll keep searching.

Wow you are so vague.
You can't even answer what you are "searching for"
we don't have a list of social norms.
We don't have a list of things you can be banned for

If you asked specific questions plenty of lions would answer you, but TBH you talk like a bot.

Alright, thank you for your time. It seems we cannot understand each other.

I’m preparing an article on the sociological aspects of the ecosystem, which is why I need sociology. I won’t take up any more of your time. Good luck.
