Martinka

For me, one of the likeable traditions in our country and in almost the entire region is the "Martinka" -a bracelet made of white and red yarn. It is put on the hand on the first of March and worn until the blossoming tree is seen. It marks the beginning of spring and the desire for good health. When you see a blossoming tree, you should make a wish and hook it on a branch with flowers.
This year, the trees bloomed long before the first of March, and last year's "martinke" can still be seen on the branches. I hope someone's wish came true.
The first photo shows one that has lost its colour due to sun, rain and time.
