An unexpected barbecue.

La semana pasada me desperté con una noticia inesperada, me invitaban a una parrillada en casa de unos vecinos de mis padres, me gustó mucho la invitación puesto que hacía tiempo que no disfrutaba de una buena carne asada, sin pensarlo dos veces, me alisté y me dirigí a casa de mis padres.

Last week I woke up with unexpected news, I was invited to a barbecue at my parents' neighbors' house. I really liked the invitation since it had been a while since I had enjoyed a good roast meat. Without thinking twice, I got ready and I headed to my parents' house.

Al llegar me encontré con que apenas se estaban preparando para salir, el ambiente estaba perfecto con un sol brillando y los niños jugando por las calles ya que era día de carnaval. Decidí ayudar en todo lo que me pidieron, cada uno aportaba su granito de arena para que la parrillada fuera un éxito, cuando llegó el momento de comer todos nos acercamos a la parrilla a tomar una porción, esta demás decir que la carne estaba deliciosa, jugosa y con un sabor ahumado que la hacía irresistible, la acompañamos con unas cervezas frías.

When I arrived I found that they were just getting ready to leave, the atmosphere was perfect with the sun shining and children playing in the streets since it was carnival day. I decided to help with everything they asked of me, each one contributed their grain of sand to make the barbecue a success, when it was time to eat we all went to the grill to have a portion, these others said that the meat was delicious, Juicy and with a smoky flavor that made it irresistible, we accompanied it with some cold beers.

Después de la parrillada algunos de los invitados se quedaron jugando dominó, yo me fui un poco temprano ya que quería ir a una fiesta de carnaval, aunque pensándolo bien recordaré ese día más por la parrillada que por ser carnaval.

After the barbecue some of the guests stayed playing dominoes, I left a little early since I wanted to go to a carnival party, although thinking about it I will remember that day more for the barbecue than for it being a carnival.
