April Leo Progress and #HPUD!

April didn't really unravel as I'd planned. When the month started, I thought it’d be a regular month like most I’ve had recently. But somewhere into April, I became inconsistent with my posting.

That affected a lot of things I had planned to do. My Leo Power up for instance. I almost gave up on that. But knowing myself, if I didn’t power up just this once, I’d find a way to make excuses for the subsequent LPUDs too.

But consequences of my inactivity resulted in me not being able to power up the minimum I’d set for myself every month - 200 Leo. So instead, I powered up 80LEO. I wasn’t able to post about it because it felt a bit embarrassing to write a post talking about how I powered up only 80 Leo. And also because I’d felt compelled to explain my inactivity, but I just wasn’t ready to face it yet.

I plan to gap the Leo my power-up was short on in the coming LPUD. This will mean that I more than likely will have to be buying the bulk of it on the market slowly before LPUD comes.

I already have not been very pro-active with regards to my Leo Goals last year, but it’s really something I hope I can change this year, because I want to at the least have hit 3.5k LP by the end of this year.

Two things that have really revived my desire to refocus on my LP has been a) my winning a free inleo premium some 3 months ago and subsequently winning another premium for #februaryinleo b) the 5k LP delegation I won from LPUD.

Those have been really instrumental in giving me a peek of what could be if I invest in inleo and in my LP. I enjoyed a lot of perks with the free premium, and even bought my own premium twice after. Lol I remember I texted olujay asking him if he had any idea when my last free premium prize will be sent, so that I’d decide on buying one myself or waiting a little longer for it.

I also have been earning a decent Leo from the combined voting power of my main own 2.2k LP + 5k delegation. Because of my inactivity, I’ve left my alt account dormant, with its only task as of now being curating on auto. I’ve only set it to trail leo-based curation trails and to curate authors I notice create good leo-focused content, so that my LP can be put to good use and grow without me having to worry about it too much.

I’ve started looking into alternative sources of earning Leo to complement my meagre author reward-earned leo. I’m currently considering delegating to leo.voter. Since I pulled my delegation from @ zing-token, I’ve been enjoying the numbers I see from curation, and I’m really sentimental about saying goodbye to it. But that is what delegating out will mean again. So I’m conflicted as to whether to delegate anyways, or raise my HP some more, and then delegate the added HP to diversify my earnings.

#HPUD

Fortunately, even though I don’t earn as much as I normally do due to my inactivity, I have managed to keep consistently increasing my Hive Power by at least 200HP every month for the last few months. This uas mostly meant that I needed to buy Hive from Binance to power up, just like what I’ll be doing today. In the last PUD, I bough about 40 Hive to top what I had to a nice round 200HP. I’ve had to buy a whooping 150Hive this month because that’s how bad the inconsistency got.

About a week ago, I calculated I’d need about that much to get my total HP increased for the month to 200HP. But along the line, I made some posts and earned a part of that 150. But since I already bought exactly 150 Hive in anticipation, I’ll just be powering it all up anyways:)
