The "Random Bits o'Paper" File — It Really Exists!

Having just spent three days as a vendor at a well-attended conference, dealing with — and engaging with — the public from morning till night, I am quite happy to admit that I am totally brain-dead at this point!

It's really "a thing!"

Feeling a little bit at a loss as to what to write, I decided to track down and have a look in a file I knew I had somewhere quite simply labeled "Random Bits o'Paper."

Now, I had an idea that this file contained a bunch of writing ideas, all scratched down on little pieces of paper.

Well, I was quite wrong about that.

Not about the little pieces of paper, but about what I had written on them. In actual fact, there were names of music I needed to find on YouTube, ideas for my creative projects, plans for our garden, and more.

Sure, there were definitely some writing ideas in the folder, but even they were split into different relevant categories, many of which were for my various niche blogs.

The fact that the ideas designated for "here" actually only mentioned the previous incarnation of Hive tells me that this folder has been laying untouched for at least four years!

The fact that aforesaid "Random Bits o'Paper" are as diverse as they are suggests that this fill is not the one — with writing notes — I had originally thought I could find. Instead, I think this is a different file, that came into existence as a result of one of my attempts to clean up my desk!

Regardless, I'm determined to go through this particular folder and deal with as many of the notes as is possible.

Easier said than done!

At least I'm discovering that my musical tastes seem fairly consistent. Seems like I have already added many of the songs/videos to my YouRube playlists. Go me!

But that isn't why I tried to find this folder... I was trying to get some viable writing ideas, and that seems to be just about the one thing I am not finding!

So much for my "organization" system!

Sometimes I can't help but just sit back and wonder why I even bother. I have all these seemingly great ideas that actually don't do much to help me improve the overall quality of my life. Like little notes of paper, supposedly created (by me) with the intent of making my life easier.

But life is never really "easier," is it?

Meh...

Regardless, I'm just too tired to think effectively, so I guess I'll just postpone trying to be an effective human being till tomorrow. After all, the alarm went off at 6:30 this morning, and now it's midnight!
