Wednesday Walk : On the way [Eng-Eng]

In recent days, while walking through the streets of Havana, I stopped to take several photographs, focusing mainly on structural elements that have always caught my attention.

I love walking the streets of Havana because I know I will always find something interesting to photograph. The city has dazzling structures and you don't have to look far to capture a beautiful image.

En días pasados, mientras caminaba por las calles de La Habana, me detuve para tomar varias fotografías, centrándome principalmente en elementos estructurales que siempre han llamado mi atención.

Me encanta pasear por las calles de La Habana porque sé que siempre encontraré algo interesante para fotografiar. La ciudad cuenta con estructuras deslumbrantes y no tienes que buscar mucho para capturar una hermosa imagen.

In the photographs I share with you, you can appreciate emblematic buildings of the capital, such as the Capitolio and the Gran Teatro Alicia Alonso, both located in front of the Central Park, which marks the dividing line between the municipalities of Centro Habana and Habana Vieja.

En las fotografías que les comparto, pueden apreciar edificios emblemáticos de la capital, como el Capitolio y el Gran Teatro Alicia Alonso, ambos ubicados frente al Parque Central, que marca la línea divisoria entre los municipios de Centro Habana y Habana Vieja.

Entering Old Havana, I show you images of the highest part of the Cathedral Church and some birds in flight from Plaza Vieja. I also found a cobblestone hill, surely they were obtained to fix some of the cobbled streets of the city. I hope that these pavers will not take long to be used and that they will not last in that corner.

Adentrándome en la Habana Vieja, les muestro imágenes de la parte mas alta de la Iglesia de la Catedral y algunas aves en vuelo de la Plaza Vieja. También me encontré con una loma de adoquines, seguramente traídos para arreglar alguna de las calles adoquinadas de la ciudad. Espero que esta loma no tarde en ser empleada y que no perdure en esa esquina.

For the end, I left these sculptures dedicated to conversation located right next to "La lonja del comercio", inside the Plaza de las Palomas as we habaneros call it. I really like this representation, having a conversation is something difficult and not everyone is willing to dialogue and for that you have to talk but also listen.

Para el final, dejé estas esculturas dedicadas a la conversación ubicadas justo al lado de "La lonja del comercio", dentro de la Plaza de las Palomas como la llamamos los habaneros. Me gusta mucho esta representación, tener una conversación es algo difícil y no todos están dispuestos a dialogar y para eso hay que hablar pero también escuchar.

With these images, I join the #wednesdaywalk challenge, although I did not do it several days ago. It was a tour in which I tried to capture the essence of Havana, its architectural beauty and unique charm. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. hugs to all!
