Contentment means being happy and satisfied with what you have, whether little or big, It’s not about having everything you want, but wanting what you already have at hand.

Being happy and satisfied with the things you have gives peace because your heart no matter what will not be doing marathon anytime it sees another person's things.
There is joy and peace of mind in a heart of man who is seriously satisfied with what he or she has.
I have enjoyed this peace personally, I don't have I give myself rest and manage what of have, when the need for it come definitely they will be a way to get it that I strongly believe.

I have had friends who no matter what I wear they will always want it and I'm like I don't share what I wear, the next option for them is to come to the house and pick it up themselves and I will just let it out even when I love that particular dress so seeing this attitude from the people around me I know they lack contentment, they are never satisfied.

John had a nice paying job in the next community close to his village, he will always sacrifice his time to make sure the job is successfully done and by the end of the month he will be paid awesomely still he borrow from everyone in his community and even when he was working telling the people his salary is not enough that he will pay back immediately he is paid the following month and when his pay for the next month comes, he will use the money to buy clothes, shoes and things he has no need for till he exhaust all his money for the month forgetting that he owe people money, this he continued for month untill he was sack from work due to people's complain about his unpaid loan, he went back to his home crying and sad with the positive mindset that he will apply somewhere else and in no time he will start working again.

Two month after nothing came, his life became what we called pitiful, so one day his friends that he was always measuring up with, trying to impress came to visit him at home and seeing the things in his house that is of no used to him, they make fun of him and some of them mock him and opt to buy it cheap so they give him money for food, he had no choice so he sold his things to his so called friends and they gave him money.

One day he sat back and regretted all he has done and promise himself to stop the competition with others and make himself better by being satisfied with what he has alone.

What causes lack of contentment?

1. Competition with others
2. Lack of self confidence
3. Inferiority complex
4. I want to feel among, my mate are doing it so why can I.

This things can so give people lack of peace so if one let go all of this, build up his or her self and know when to say yes and know and have self value for himself or herself then contentment will be her virtue.

Be satisfied with the little you have, and you will have peace.
