MUAHROOMS IN THE ROTTENT HARD WOOD AN TREE AT THE FOREST

avatar

Hello everyone and Happy Fridayfor all of you...

This my contributions to #FungiFriday challenge by @ewkaw in Fungi Friday Community

After the rainy season passes and the dry season begins, of course this makes it a bit difficult for me to find mushrooms in places like forests or something like that. I would of course have to look for it in trees or in rotting logs, like today. Today I found Mushrooms on one side of a dead tree, and several others on a rotting hard tree.

This mushroom is of the Trichaptum Abietinum type, which is a type of mushroom that usually grows on decaying hardwood. This type of fungus is a good decomposer where they will spread the spores all over the surface of their host so that they will decompose more quickly.

This mushroom has characteristics like a fan, but with slightly thick and wavy edges. They are usually white with a few stripes on the inside of their surface which are light brown or yellow. If you look more closely, on their surface there are also many fine hairs like cotton that cover their entire surface. They usually grow parallel to each other so that they appear to fill the surface of their host. I don't know if this mushroom is edible or not, but for the sake of avoiding unwanted things, it's better not to eat it.

Besides that, I also found several mushrooms that have the same shape but with slightly different characteristics. The difference can be seen from the color, and also the slightly different shape. This mushroom has an orange color and nice edges, and it has the same surface. For more details, you can see my photos. Thank you, and see you on the next #FungiFriday post

Several times I have also seen mushrooms like the one you show on this occasion and it would be better if you take them from a different angle.

it's a unique mushroom and that type of mushroom is very rarely seen and you're lucky to find it
