Your Happiness Should Resonate From You First And Not Others.
A sign of maturity is when you learn how to adjust to people you knew before who have stop calling, texting, asking after you or unfriend you. Show maturity by not overreacting or feeling rejected when something like this happens.

The bitter truth is that no one owes you anything, whether in friendships, relationships or just conversation. As an adult with responsibility and family, you should not be bothering yourself about who calls and doesn't call you, or who does or not want to talk to you. You have family, siblings and parents, focus on them first.
When you start asking people the reason why they neglected or stop calling you, you have just proven you are not yet mature and aware of important responsibilities. The truth is that, you can't change people, they made their decision for some reasons, and when you find out that you are no longer part of their priorities, just move on.
When you notice the change and you have seen it happened for no reason, there is nothing you can do about it, just move on with your life, there are more important things to think of. Without explanation or complaining, learn how to let go of friends who no longer cares about you.
Learn how to become your own happiness, and not derive it from someone or somewhere else. Your happiness should not come from other people, it must from only you first.
