INTRODUCTION: I'm So Excited To Be Here.

Hello everyone, how are you all doing?

Before I go ahead to introduce myself, I want to wish all Hivers Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.

My name is Deborah Silas Mfon (but my friends call me Debby), I'm 22 years old. I'm a citizen of Nigeria coming from the Akwa Ibom state region.

Career
I'm a student who is still an undergraduate in the school of Health Sciences. As a kid I was so passionate in becoming a medical doctor so that I can take good care of people and treat them when they get sick. As life may have I could not study Medicine, nevertheless I was able to get into the school of Health so I can become a nurse, at least it still offers me the opportunity to still take good care of people.

Hobbies

I'm not a fan of too many hobbies, I just stick to the ones which I love doing and that makes me happy which is cooking, writing and dancing. Other hobbies apart of this are just there to pass time for the moment and nothing much.

How I got to know about Hive

I was introduced to Hive by a friend and a brother called Patrick, who's username is @hivepromax here in this platform. We attend the same church, Patrick told me about Hive when he saw a piece writing made by me and was pleased, I wrote a fiction story which found so interesting to read.

Patrick told me about Hive and the opportunities it has to offer, I became interested and he helped me to open an account immediately. After then I dumped the account, because I thought what Patrick told me about Hive is too good to be true, I used the experience of others failed platforms that I joined to judge Hive and never knew this was different.

Luckily this festive period I met Patrick after months of not seeing each other, and he reminded me about Hive and ask me how far I had gone. He was shocked to hear that I dumped my account all this while without being active, to cut the long story short, I decided to do need the needful, I don't want to let Patrick down again, he told me to make my introduction post for a start, which he guide me on how to.

What to expect from me here

The goal is to find a community that suits me and my area of interest, start building myself and see how I can make progress. Like I said earlier, I love health, so expect some health tips from me. I don't want to restrict myself to one area, but I'm open to try others and see the ones that I can develop interest on.

I was told engagement is the key for success here on Hive, I have already added that to my goals, I have to connect and make as much friends here and just be happy.

I know as a newbie things will be tough here, but I believe with the right mindset and genuineness all things will fall in pleasant places for me, if others can make it, I too can.
