Sammy's Warfare | Doom's Day Child
On Christmas day, Sammy's father called him out from his room, just to utter these words;
Sammy's father: "Merry Christmas Sammy, you're my favorite elf of the year, or forever and elf.
You won't grown tall of be more than an elf."
Sammy: "Elf's ain't real"
Sammy yelled at his father, cried while running away to the front door.
He never thought of what would happen to him for turning back at his father.
He ran so fast so as to prevent his father from stopping him.

On leaving the house, Sammy went straight to his drug addict uncle, uncle Khalifa.
Uncle got convicted severely for smoking weed in the public and jailed for 5 years.
Even though he had bad history, he still feels very much like a father to Sammy than Sammy's biological father.

Sammy felt so comfortable with his uncle and wanted to get his life in order as time passes by.
He dropped out of a school because his uncle couldn't afford paying his bills.
He got himself busy with a job at the age of 8 of which the payment never mate his daily demands.
He struggled alone while his uncle was busy smoking weed. His father on the other hand had nothing to do with the prodigal son. Unluckily for Sammy, his mother died after childbirth.
This made him to be super solid and free from emotional traumas.

Sammy struggled to survive by joining other boys who made their daily earnings as scavengers. They picked all manners of metal, plastic bottles, broken marbles for the recycling company.
This helped him a lot by helping him to save some money for his uncle who later got diagnosed with cancer.
At the of 17, Sammy's uncle died, leaving all his belongings for him.
Sammy felt very much alone and open to all manner of attacks and disturbances.
This led him to joining a cult group known as Aye.
Aye loved him so much, anchored high hopes on him as their number executioner and second in charge.
His shoulders got high and his morale was boosted to its maximum limit. He felt like he was on top of the world since everyone member of their group pays loyalty dues to him while he submits only to the King of the group, Amadi.
Being a member of Aye was never part of Sammy's dream, but mother nature brought him to the biggest threatening lifestyle.
He did his job as the worse member of the group, killed many including his biological father and got so many girls pregnant.
After six years of doing more harm than good to himself, he broke-up with Aye to form his own group.
He formed a very terrible robbery set known as Ikuku (Meaning, air). They were never caught in the act and they robbed everything that has cash up to their expectations.
Sammy grew from street robbery to state, and from state to national. He was known for his terrifying activities in the country which greatly attracted the interest of the government.

On the night before Christmas, the President order a platoon of soldiers to invade Sammy's territory in search of him and his accomplices.
Sammy had no idea of what was coming for him, even with he high very of information shared on every radio about him.

On the Christmas Eve, the military decided to throw a very loud party at the king's palace in order to attract Sammy and his squad.
On the party, very high denomination of currencies we're displaced and high dignitaries we're invited to showcase their wealth.
As the party was going on, the military mounted on very strategic positions, waiting for the predators to arrive.

By 11:00pm, Sammy and his squad decided to invade the king's palace, a prey set by the military.
They invaded the palace, robbed everyone and set the entire building on fire to sound a warming to everyone that they must be paid before any occasion to hold.
They were busy making boastful meanings to the people while the military surrounded them with heavier ammunition and with higher number of well armed soldiers.
Sammy's Ikuku rounded up their gatherings, bagged enough money and was about to go. Unluckily for them, the military opened fire from every angle.
Sammy's charms disappointed his because of heavier fire from the military personnels.
He got killed and paraded around the city as sign of freedom.
Today, everyone shares his story to any notorious entity in the city as warning of what would happen if they experience any form of attack or disturbance.
This story was inspired by the story of Derico Nwamama which took place in the South East of Nigeria.
