dCrops is a farming simulation game on Hive. It is a play to earn game where you can earn CROP tokens by playing the game. Read our announcement to learn more.

But Halloween was a week ago, what is this event you ask?

We are holding a month-long event to celebrate Halloween. You earn Halloween Candy simply by playing the game which can then be exchanged for some exciting prizes. Our announcement of the dCrops Halloween Celebration has all the details you need.

The Event Shop

The event shop is now live which you can access by going to https://dcrops.com/halloween22 or by clicking on the spooky red link in the header that says "Halloween Event" on the site.

Here you can exchange your Halloween candies for a lot of different items, 2 of which are exclusive to this event.

1. The Cemetery

The Cemetery is an Epic land NFT with 2 plots.

It has a special ability that increases the chances to get 2* and 3* crops to 30% and 10% respective. That is a huge change from the base chance which is 9% and 1%.

This can be bought using 5 golden tickets(which are found inside coffins). There are only 50 of these NFTs that can be exchanged during the event.

2. The Jack-o-Lantern

Note: Please note that there is a typo regarding the selling price of this card on the above art. It sells for 25 shares instead of 12.

The Jack-o-Lantern is a Legendary seed.

It produces 3 crops, which sell for 25 shares each and takes 6 days to grow.

The special ability of this card is that it can be planted during any season.

Just like the Cemetery, this can be bought using 5 golden tickets(which are found inside coffins). There are only 50 of these NFTs that can be exchanged during the event.

EDIT: The prices of the event exclusive NFTs have now been lowered to 5 golden tickets each.

I don’t have enough lands and seeds to claim gold tickets. Anyway I think that new land and seed NFT are not a good idea. But other claimable gifts are a great idea and also this special event is.

Be’ ma qualche caramella sicuro la tiri su e a fine mese puoi investirla. Non sono del tutto contrario a eventi stagionali.

Poi se vogliamo chiamarli “solstizio d’inverno” invece che natalizio, per me non ci sono problemi.

Non sono contraria a tutte le feste (ci mancherebbe), men che meno Natale o Pasqua, ma proprio specificatamente ad halloween. Purtroppo per amore di una moda (tra l'altro palesemente importata a causa dell'assurda mania di copiare qualiasi cosa, pur di copiare) si passa sopra a qualsiasi questione etica e halloween ne è il più tristissimo esempio. Mi è perfino stato riferito che negozi cinesi (cinesi, dico!) sono stati addobbati secondo la moda del momento (alla faccia delle tradizioni in madrepatria, che coerenza!). Il commercio è arrivato a tal punto da non distinguere una festa sacra come il Natale da una palesemente satanica come halloween. Che tristezza.

I tried my luck with the coffin but I think it's not my thing, I definitely do better with the Reward Chests. I bought 15 just 30 minutes ago and even got a Gold Ore...apart from other materials. You know, I need materials to build 😁
