Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.

Let’s start with my Hive goals.

Hive & HBD

My current goal is 35k Hive.

Last week I increased my HP by 408.84 Hive, bringing me to 34,265.440 total Hive Power. That’s 97.9% of my goal!

Math time. 35k - 34,265.440 gives us 734.56. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 6.9 Hive needed per day to reach 35k by that point.

With Hive so cheap, I am tempted to just buy the remainder this week, but I think I will just continue with my small daily power-ups, so it will probably be another two weeks at current pace.

No surprises here with the Hive Engine tokens. A few weeks ago I started selling the DBOND I make weekly from holding RUG and using that to buy more RUG, so my holdings there are slowly increasing. I’m up to 769.359 RUG now. Less than I want, but I’m not going to do more than reinvest right now, as my HP is getting most of my money.

A good week with a nice steady increase! Let’s hope this trend continues next week.
