Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.

Let’s start with my Hive goals.

Hive & HBD

My goal for this year was 35k Hive and I’m past that. Now I’m seeing how close I can get to my stretch goal, 40k.

Last week I made and bought 483.75, bringing me to 36,158.140 total Hive Power. That’s 90.4% of my stretch goal!

Math time. 35k - 36,158.140 gives us 3841.86. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 48.6 Hive needed per day to reach 40k by that point. That’s not bad. Down a little from last week. I did do another HIVE buy last week, but didn’t power all of it up yet.

Anyway, we’ll keep going day by day. If I keep buying into HIVE, then I think I’ll make my stretch goal. But if the price of HIVE does recover then I won’t be buying anymore (or not as much) and probably won’t make my stretch goal. We’ll just have to see how it goes.

All is pretty normal here. My PIMP earnings were down a bit, but otherwise all looks good here.

It was another good div for RUG this past week. And as I talked about the other day, I sold the DBOND div and used it to buy more RUG. I’m up to 914.408 right now. I think I want to get above 1000, then I’ll take some profits. Maybe. Or maybe use the gains to put into one of these other things I’m aiming for: PIMP or BRO. We’ll see.

Silver

The silver chart for last week:

It didn’t look too good at first, but started to recover towards the end of the week. Still a down week, but maybe it will go back up here soon.

Wow, look what I found this morning! The 2025 zodiac coins are already on preorder. Next year is snake year. While the snake is not as exciting a design as dragon, this design on this coin does really looks great!

This is one I will definitely have to get. My oldest son was born in 2013, making him a snake. Now 12 years later we are back to his year. This is one I think I will order a few of and save at least one of them for him.
