HIVE is cheap — Time to Buy Some

This is going to be a public service announcement.

Hive is cheap!! If you have extra money, buy some!

[note: do not buy some if you don't have extra money and need that money to buy food to keep your kids from starving]

Ok, I know, $0.20 is a depressing, especially when you consider we hit $3 not so long ago. (That's not even to mention that if you happened to have been around in the Steemit days you might remember when we hit north of $17...) Hive has not been performing well, there is no question about that. There are challenges here and improvements are slow.

But let's remember that Hive is more than a simple investment, a simple token, something we throw $100 into every few weeks and never think about until we check our portfolio at the end of the month. If that's what you want, go buy BTC. Hive is a community, it's a platform, it's an ecosystem. You can't blog on BTC or DOGE. When you buy HIVE, you are getting more than just a number on a spreadsheet to check if it has gone up or down.

Yes, if profit is your number one concern, you are probably better off going elsewhere. But if you are here for blogging, for community, for sharing your thoughts, talking to others about theirs, getting to know each other, then HIVE is one of the best things you can be investing in.

We own Hive. Do you own Facebook? Twitter X? Reddit? So we've fallen to 20 cents? So what? Nothing changes here except you make a little less on posts. A little less, but still something, which is more than you can say on these other ad-infested social networks.

Instead of being depressed, we should all be looking at this as a huge opportunity. You can buy a lot more influence on this platform for only 20 per HIVE? Wow, that's huge! If you have the ability, I'd think seriously about picking up some HIVE.

It may still go down. Someone at upbit is dumping a lot of HIVE, so this downward pressure could push us under 20 cents. Down to 15? Maybe. But it also may not go down anymore if enough of us take advantage of this sale. Anyway, I'm putting my money where my mouth is and I'm buying in. I suggest you think about doing the same. [Again, if you have the money. Don't spend money you don't have. Avoiding debt is more important than buying HIVE.]

Anyway....that is all.

I don't usually check HIVE prices very often, but I was a little surprised at the drop yesterday and today. And my thought was that I could have bought more HIVE if I had blogged more and saved more HBD.

My 2,000.00 PHP is now worth 150 plus $HIVE. Usually, the same amount just gave me close to 100.
