For today I bring you a miniature tea set, made in the Quilling Technique. I want you to notice that with this technique apart from making charms or accessories, which is what I usually do, you can also make decorative objects and many other things, just let your imagination fly and you will see the amount of things you can create.

Hola a mis queridos Hiver y a la querida comunidad de artistas #DiyHub, como siempre muy complacida y emocionada de encontrarme por acá para participar en este concurso del mes inspirado en Teteras. Te invito a participar, por acá te dejo las pautas del concurso.

Para hoy les traigo un juego de té en miniatura, elaborado en la Técnica de Quilling. Quiero que observen que con esta técnica aparte de realizar dijes o accesorios que es lo que usualmente hago, también se pueden realizar objetos decorativos y un sin fin de cosas más, solo deja volar tu imaginación y veras la cantidad de cosas que puedes crear.

Entonces amigos, sin más preámbulos, esperando que sea de su agrado acompáñenme en este proceso creativo que realice especialmente para ustedes.

Comencemos:😃

Body of the teapot:

• Let's start by taking white quilling tape 3mm wide x 150cms long, we will roll with the quilling needle until we reach the end, we will seal with extra strong white glue we will get a closed circle, like this we will need two.
  
  
• We will mold the circles, pushing outwards with our fingers until we get the right shape for the body of our teapot, we will add a little glue on the inside to prevent our pieces from deforming, and lose the shape we gave it, let it dry.
  
  
• We join both pieces by gluing a piece of tape around them (reserve).

Cuerpo de la tetera:

• Comencemos tomando cinta para quilling blanca de 3mm de ancho x 150cms de largo, enrollaremos con la aguja para quilling hasta llegar al final, sellaremos con pega blanca extra fuerte obtendremos un círculo cerrado, como este vamos a necesitar dos.


• Vamos a moldear los círculos, empujando hacia afuera con los dedos hasta obtener la forma adecuada para el cuerpo de nuestra tetera, añadiremos un poco de pega por la parte de adentro para así evitar que nuestras piezas se deformen, y pierdan la forma que le dimos, dejamos secar.


• Unimos ambas piezas pegando un trocito de cinta alrededor (reservamos).

Teapot lid:

• We take a white quilling ribbon 3mm wide x 75cms long and another piece of green quilling ribbon 3mm wide x 5cms long we will join both ribbons to form one, we roll starting with the white ribbon until finishing with the green one and seal with glue, we will obtain a closed circle.
  
  
• Mold to form the lid, pushing the circle outwards a little with the help of your fingers, apply a little glue on the inside as we did with the previous piece so that it does not deform or lose its shape.
  
  
• With a small piece of green ribbon 3mm wide we will make a small closed circle.
  
  
• Take another small piece of green ribbon and we will make the handles, rolling with the quilling needle on both sides forming a kind of spiral.

Tapa de la tetera:

• Tomamos una cinta de quilling color blanco de 3mm de ancho x 75cms de largo y otro trozo de cinta para quilling verde de 3mm de ancho x 5cms de largo uniremos ambas cintas para formar una sola, enrollamos empezando por la cinta blanca hasta terminar con la verde y sellamos con pega, vamos a obtener un círculo cerrado.


• Moldearemos para formar la tapa, empujando un poco el circulo hacia afuera con la ayuda de los dedos, aplicamos un poco de pega en la parte de adentro como hicimos con la pieza anterior para que no se deforme, ni pierda su forma.


• Con un trocito de cinta verde de 3mm de ancho haremos un pequeño círculo cerrado.


• Tómanos otro pequeño trozo de cinta verde y haremos las asas, enrollando con la aguja de quilling por ambos lados formando una especie de espiral.

Base for the teapot:

Peak of the teapot:

• Take a white quilling ribbon 3mm wide (14xcms long) and a green one (3mm wide x 4cms long), roll it with the quilling needle, this time starting with the green side and ending with the white one, seal it with glue.
  
  
• To mold take a toothpick and push outwards, then with your fingers give it the desired shape, put a little glue inside and wait for it to dry so that the small piece does not deform.
  
  
• Let's make some little flowers to decorate: we will take a small piece of green quilling tape 1mm wide x 5cms long, we roll it with the quilling needle until the end of the tape, we seal it with glue, we will obtain a small closed circle, we will mold it in the shape of a drop pinching its tip with a fine tip tweezers, we will need 5 to form the flower. We will join the five small pieces and in the middle we will place a glitter, pearl or costume jewelry crystal. We will make the necessary flowers to decorate the pieces we are going to make.

Base para la tetera:

• Con una cinta de quilling color blanca de 1mm de ancho x100cms de largo y otro pequeño trozo verde de 1mm de ancho x 5cms de largo, unimos ambas con un toque de pega, y enrollamos con la aguja empezando por la cinta blanca, para formar un círculo cerrado, moldeamos un poco para darle una forma redondeada, protegemos con un poco de pega para que no pierda la forma.

Pico de la tetera:

• Tómanos una cinta de quilling color blanca de 3mm de ancho 14xcms de largo y otro de verde de 3mm de ancho x 4cms de largo, enrollamos con la aguja para quilling, esta vez comenzando por el lado verde hasta finalizar con el blanco, sellamos con pega.


• Para moldear tomaremos un palillo mondadientes y empujaremos hacia afuera, luego con los dedos le daremos la forma deseada, le colocamos por dentro un poco de pega esperaremos que seque para que la pequeña pieza no se deforme.


• Realicemos unas florecitas para decorar: vamos a tomar un trocito de cinta para quilling color verde de 1mm de ancho x 5cms de largo, enrollamos con la aguja para quilling hasta finalizar con la cinta, sellamos con pega, obtendremos un pequeño círculo cerrado, este lo moldearemos en forma de gota pellizcando su punta con una pinza punta fina, necesitaremos 5 para formar la flor. Uniremos las cinco piecitas y en el medio colocaremos un brillo, perla o cristal de bisutería. Haremos las flores necesarias para adornar las piezas que vayamos a elaborar.

Cup:

Taza:

• Tomamos una cinta de quilling color blanco de 3mm de ancho x 75cms de largo y otro trozo de cinta para quilling verde de 3mm de ancho x 5cms de largo uniremos ambas cintas para formar una sola, enrollamos empezando por la cinta blanca hasta terminar con la verde y sellamos con pega, vamos a obtener un círculo cerrado.


• Moldearemos para formar la tapa, empujando un poco el circulo hacia afuera con la ayuda de los dedos, aplicamos un poco de pega en la parte de adentro como hicimos con la pieza anterior para que no se deforme, ni pierda su forma.


• Tómanos otro pequeño trozo de cinta verde y haremos las asas, enrollando con la aguja de quilling por ambos lados formando una especie de espiral, tal como lo hicimos con la de la tetera.

Plato para la taza:

• Con una cinta de quilling color blanca de 1mm de ancho x100cms de largo y otro pequeño trozo verde de 1mm de ancho x 5cms de largo, unimos ambas con un toque de pega, y enrollamos con la aguja empezando por la cinta blanca, para formar un círculo cerrado


• Realice una pequeña cucharilla, enrollando pequeños trozos de cinta blanca, uno más grande que el otro, y luego le pase cinta verde alrededor.

• I wanted to finish with all the small pieces to proceed with the assembly. For both the teapot and the cup, we are going to glue the pieces together in a harmonic way until we form them.
  
  
• With a piece of white cardboard cut a rectangle, additionally make some green quilling circles with 3mm, 6mm ribbons, to make some handles and make a tray, which I decorated with flowers.
  
  
• Protect our pieces a little by applying a layer of extra strong white glue (carpentry glue), let it dry well.
  
  

Finally, we arrange the small pieces in the tray as we like and in this way we have our mini decorative tea set ready.✨

• Quise finalizar con todas las pequeñas piezas para proceder a armar. Tanto para la tetera como para la taza, vamos a ir pegando de manera armónica las piezas hasta formarlas.


• Con un trozo de cartón blanco corte un rectángulo, adicionalmente realice algunos círculos de quilling color verde con cintas de 3mm, 6mm, para realizar unas asas y elabore una bandeja, la cual decore con flores.


• Protejamos un poco nuestras piezas aplicando una capa de pega blanca extra fuerte (de carpintería), dejamos secar bien.

Por ultimo ordenamos a nuestro gusto las pequeñas piezas en la bandeja y de esta manera tenemos listo nuestro mini juego de té decorativo.✨
