Por su cabeza paso que en una cena familiar cuando estaba Brandon, la familia comentó que algunos de ellos fueron músicos en su época de juventud y eso era todo lo que necesitaba Kirk para ese momento, así que decido hacer un par de viajes hacia donde estaba su familia y de esa manera sus tíos se uniera a su grupo de Rock, todo le funcionó muy bien, ya que la familia siempre estará allí presente para todo, sin embargo, el otro problema era que necesitaban un lugar para poder practicar, así que ese sitio fue el garaje de una de las casas de la familia, así que ya tenía todo listo para comenzar a practicar y asumir un nuevo desafío, la cual era poder participar en el concurso de rock patrocinado por la gran empresa Risingstar.

Les tocó presentarse a Kirk y lo primero que les tocó decir fue su nombre de la banda, así que el nombre fue La familia Roquera, la cual ese nombre les sirvió para representar a todos, lo único que quedaba hacer era su trabajo y poner a todos a brincar y disfrutar de la buena música que está banda tenía para todos. Kirk muy feliz, ya que siempre tuvo ese gran sueño y no importa las personas que lo conforman, si no lo importante allí es salir y lucha por lo sueño, donde está esta familia roquera, conquistó a todos y cada vez más cerca de poder llegar a entrar a Risingstar.
