Throw back August Ipoh stay (5)

Its time. The weekend is here, and i need to swope back to Kuala Lumpur for my family guy duty. Early in the morning, i have clear out all my laundry, throw them in to the car and proceed for one final morning walk.

A quick selfie originally sent to home minister, to remind her shes gonna see this face tonight, latest the next day morning. I then proceed for my usual morning walk routine. 5 rounds, 4 x 5 reps of pull ups.

After the morning walk, i quikcly dump the laundry into the dobi, then proceed to take mom out for breakfast. I got myself a very promising breakfast set and I'm quite satisfy with the portion.

Mom got her fried noodle which she complaint the noodle is a lil too stiff. I took a small forkful of noodle and tried, i thought the hardness of the noodle was alright. May be mom was expecting it to be even softer?

The entire afternoon, i was busy sorting out the laundry. I did pack chicken rice for mom and myself, since it was packed in Styrofoam box and there's absolutely nothing to brag about, therefore no picture were taken at all for lunch session.

Afterwhich, i took a short nap in the late afternoon whilst waiting for my brother to come home taking over my duty. After loading all lugages, my workstations, and some biscuits i bought as gift, then proceed to the church for evening mass.

After mass, i have communicated with my brother, he brought mom and a family friend, we went for dinner together. My brother sneakily took a photo of me whilst I'm checking in with the home minister.

My brother opt for something totally out of my expectation. Never know he's the kind of sandwich person. By the look of it, this sabdwich set does looks very tasty yo. Perhaps next time i will try the sandwich.

I think I'm a little sick as i was in the rain in the afternoon whilst running around for my chores. My bowl of basil fish ball vermicelli is perfect with hot soup. That actually helped me to blow clean of my runny nose.

Mom ordered dried flat noodle, and i think she's super hungry. Before i even started eating my bowl of vermicelli soup, she already finishes her noodle and started whacking her bowl of soup.

After dinner, i said goodbye to mom and my brother, so i started my faithful Proton Saga, set my Waze.... Oh wait. One thing short, i need a bag of iced coffee to be with me. So i proceed to my favourite coffee shop in town. I think its just luck, today they're open, but ran out of coffee. With much disappointment, i set my Waze and heading home.

After about an hour of driving, i really needed a break. So i stopped by Bidor and decided to grab something at the Tealive. For a small cowboy town, this modern boba tea shop seems like a very famous hangout place. Took me 15 minutes wait just to get my cup of coffee.

Suprisingly, the coffee is not bad yo! Who will order hot coffee in a boba shop? 🤣 I guess I'm the only idiot. Trust me, for the price of below $2, this is a perfect cup of coffee. Most importantly, it does it's job by providing me a sense of taste companionship whilst I'm driving.

After couple of hours of struggle, finally i made it home with all of them still wide awake. The house is full of noise and i started to recall the quietness and peaceful home town.
