Independence day updata

It's not a spelling mistake. I literally combining UP and DATA as I recall last year I made a post about an Independable day. To avoid others commenting me being too negative, so I decided let's UP the DATA, work with the situation.

it's the 66th anniversary of our independance day. As a young country, I'm proud that we made it this far(despite I'm puzzled by how a 1/13 smaller Singapore who independance from Malaysia 8 years later, progresses 6x ahead of us).

Throwing back to a couple of days ago, at the beginning of the week, I was too darn busy trying to manage my work, knowing the holiday is coming, I need to save every minute for work. Naturally, ordering mix rice will be the fastest and most convenient way. I got myself mixed dish of curry pig skin slices, stir fry ladiesfinger, fried pork strips(bacon style), and a stash of fermented spinach cooked with dried chili we called it vege leg(literally means leftovers mixed dish) 🤣 I got a shock of my life when the hawker charge me 13.50.But later on decide it was a fair price, considering I'm in Kuala Lumpur city center, and also the amount of meat I took. Pig is just way too expensive nowadays. Oh, the stuff that's floating in my bowl of soup? That's chicken feet boiled in radish soup 🤣🤣🤣 Free with every purchase of mix rice.

The princess first attempt of creme caramel prove to be quite successful. What a giant portion she made. I got nothing to scale it, but the red color bowl is a ramen bowl. One improvement required, the caramel wasn't burnt enough. Not sure if it was for health reason or youngster simply doesn't like the bitter taste?

All 3 working days evening I've been stuck with work until late. I got no where else to go except Mamak and McDonald's, since most of the restaurants close their final order by 9pm. I don't like to go Mamak anymore since I stopped smoking. It's the perfect place to hangout at the open air, drinking milk tea and smoking like a chimney. McDonald's is the new pub nowadays. The later the night, the more customers they get. I refused to go there and wait in the queue for food. Ended up I've been buying Oden from Family Mart all 3 suppers.

Princes send this spy shot to report her brother playing with the mom's iPad when the adults are not at home 🤣 it's not a big deal to let him play, since it's school holiday. What we worry now is losing control. Kids and electronic gadgets, is a perfect combination of disastrous communication breakdown with humans.

Totally fits today's topic, an Independable day up data. Nothing much gas change. 1 year gone and another year of nonsense ahead. Happy 66th independance to fellow Malaysians. Merdeka!
