Becoming routine
This is not a compliant post, despite it may sound or looked like one, trust me it's all about the other side, the positive side. I've been working in this new firm coming 6 weeks now. I don't dare to say how familiar myself with it, but things is now gradually becoming routine.
There's only limited amount of choice I can choose for breakfast. Either Subway, O'Brien's, or I don't eat at all. Subway opens at 8, I will have to fight my way ordering food so I don't report to work late since my working hour starts at 8:30. I don't mind O'Brien's, but their "quality" sandwich is double the price of Subway.
For a change, I decided to try the Dunkin. The queue is just as bad as the subway. I think I know the reason as soon as I arrive at the queue. All of their sandwiches are just as affordable as Subway. Best of all, it comes with coffee yo!
The food tastes absolutely amazing. The sandwich is actually the same dough they used to fry their donut, so it's a little oily. I don't have any complaints about the sandwich, and the coffee is also on point. For the price tag of RM9.50, if this is not the price of a steal, I don't know what is.
I've been spending between 14 - 16 hours a day at work nowadays. I can choose to whine and complain about it, but nothing's gonna change the fact that I picked this job, and the job picks me. Somehow I gotta find a way to destranggle myself from the bad routine. Dunkin is a good start. Now I need to find a McDonald's near the office.

absolutely amazingto describe junk food. I mean... It's freakin dunkin donut, not some high class restaurant. 🤣That's what school sells. I'm one of those victims, brought up by the system 😊 when I get an absolutely amazing doughnut from a donut shop, I will shout absolutely amazing, because it's absolutely amazing - to me.
Also, side question. Any reasons why you don't upvote people engaging with you through comments? I see you didn't upvote any comments in here.

Dang man, 12-16 HOURS??? I was just thinking of you the other day, hoping you’re doing well - sounds like you’ve been very busy. I like Dunkin too :) I find their recipes are different depending on the region, but I only had one cup of Dunkin iced coffee I didn’t like, it was in Brooklyn, NY…I think they use a liquid sweetener there instead of granules of sugar. Do they have a “Big n Toasted” there? That’s what I used to love to get :)

Untangled sounds like a good word to describe me too, but the "destrangle" came to my mind because of

Holy crap! Yeah I misread that…that’s insane man! You know, I often look at our politics over here and think, am I the only one who thinks this shit is all a big lie, right in our faces!? Can anyone else see that were being dragged along, down a path that benefits none of us?
…and this makes me think, no. I’m not alone, we’re all seeing it, we just haven’t figured out what we can do to repair things I guess. Man, dude strangled himself and ejected himself from an armored vehicle…seems like an ideal opponent, doing all the work for those who would want him gone 🤣
Since Dunkin isn't exist in my own country yet, I am really curious to know how it different from the west compare to some brand in my region.

I'm still wondering why Cambodia donut is a street food 🤣 with the street food donut around, it's hard to imagine how Dunkin can survive. Even in my country, Dunkin donut is premium price tag.
