Kuala Lumpur Street View At Night

Like every major city in the world, there are place for tourists and there are dodgy end that no tourists should visits. I would like to take you for a quick night view tour at some of Kuala Lumpur Street view at night.

Kuala Lumpur tower used to be one of the tallest tower in the south East Asia region. There's a ton of news about the revolving restaurants, bungee jumping platform, movie took place and many more, you may do some reading about it.

If taking pictures of buildings is your thing, then don't bother to go there. When you're on that hill, standing right beneath the tower, you'll have trouble taking a good photo of it. Instead, looks for St.John international school, it will lead right to the church next to the hill. You don't need to pay for parking here, and you get some marvelous shot of the tower.

The place is called Bukit Nenas, translate as Pineapple Hill. I believe there's some history about it, but I'm just too damn lazy to dig into it. The home minister was raised from this hill, she grew up here until she was at her late teens.

Driving down from the pineapple hill, you can choose to turn left or turn right. Turning left will lead us to straight to KLCC Twin Tower. But if you're looking for old school and culture stuff, turn right instead. Cheap motel around this area aren't cheap, but it's definitely worth explore since street food are everywhere.

The place is a main street leading to the police headquarters. This part of the street is actually quite safe to walk. Just be very careful with "overly friendly" people from the street that offer help.

How often do you see dinning table and chairs under a pedestrian bridge?

I had to take one more shot. Take note of the lady in red, at the pedestrian bridge posing for photography session 🤣

And here is the entrance to Petaling Street, our very own version of China town. The last I've visited here, that was 3 years ago when the lockdown was lifted.

Oh if you noticed the triangular yellow flag with red skirting, those are from the "organization" who run the china town. It is that real, like the one you saw in the movie. Those organizations offer lion dance to collect "donations", take care of the safety of all tenants inside the china town. You don't see those yellow flag during normal days, but we're at the month of hungry ghost season, therefore the organisation will run the show and chase the ghost away(but of course, comes with a price tag).

Along the street, you can see some of these old shop houses being converted to cafe, restaurants, flower distributor hub, and of course ragae bars and resthouse.

Despite the no parking sign, people are still taking their chance, parking their parking car at a no parking space. It's narrow here, so if you're renting a car to drive here, be sure to rent a smaller car so you don't get stuck in a situation like this.

I kid you not. The main street is this narrow. can't help it because these buildings are already there for many decade, there's no way the government can force the owner to move out from their shop.

I was going to capture the new tower since this is probably the first time I seen them lights up. The rapid movement of the car set me back couple of nice shot.

A very old Chinese fighter god temple can be found here, one of the best part being, the same road you'll be able to find a mosque for the Muslims and alao Indian temple all together on the same street.

There are more trading outlets that will seduce you to spend more. Try to limit yourself to strictly pay for food and taking photo as the experience. Souvenir you can buy from some other place.

I bet that cramped narrow area has some good food in it. You probably have to sit at a table and chairs under a pedestrian bridge :D
