Cloudy day and meaty evening

Latest development of the weather change brought. big relief to many of us. Now that the hot season has gone and we're looking forward of... wait... prepared the worst as year end is usually flood season.

Those who doesn't know, the capital city of Malaysia, the Kuala Lumpur is a flood prune area, especially during monsoon season. The entire city is strategically located in a valley. Kuala means valley, Lumpur means mud. Not surprise right.

I'm grateful for the immediate superior from my previous company reached out to me, checking me out whether I'm ok with my work. I didn't make a fuzz about the crap I'm having here, so I sent her a selfie to show her I'm still alive. She said I looked slimmer and tired, asked me out for a dinner with her and her husband.

Since I've been heavily abused by my office work, decided to meet her up for a quick dinner. She arrived earlier, as I know my previous company are quite free to go out. She took a photo of the restaurant so we can meet there later.

As soon as I arrive, I make a quick groceries shopping so I can grab some fruits, chocolate, peanut butter and a bag of protein powder, knowing I won't have time to go for breakfast nowadays.

The moment I arrived at the scene, they have already ordered for me. The amount of raw meat on the table is ridiculous. She said, I need it since I lost weight 🤣

I also ordered a plate of chicken breast thinking it will be a good idea, but to later found out it's the worst decision since it's extremely filling 😅

All sorts of meatballs, fish balls, squid balls, crab balls, are there ready to be cooked. Seriously, the amount of food is way too much for 3 persons. Moreover, her husband is a vegetarian 😅

Raw squid cut on the ice bowl. I don't know if you guys like sashimi, it's definitely not my cup of squid. According to her, it's sweet and crunchy.

Not forgetting two huge plate of pork belly slices. These are bacon cuts, therefore it's not really that thick. It was rolled up and frozen, so it's in a tube shape. We can use chopstick to clamp it, dip into the boiling hot soup for a couple of seconds and shove it in immediately.

Take a look at it at this angle and you can feel the magnitude of the craziness we have. I kid you not, literally the spinach is for her husband, and the two of us will have to finish all the meat.

If you think that was all, not forgetting there's a side tray the staff prepared for us, since the table couldn't accommodate all the food we have ordered. More balls in a very nice display range that we will have to cook them.

3 of us choose a different type of soup. The husband choose herbal soup to cook with his tofu and beancurd. The wife choose tomato soup, and mine was bone soup.

It was a blast, not exactly sure how we managed to ate all of them, by the time we finish these all, I was too tired and lazy to take photo of my wonderful desserts, imagine that. Took us almost 3 hours to get rid of it.
