Bazaar Ramadan TTDI

Bazaar in the middle east is referring to market. I'm not exactly sure if the words origin from Arabic, but let stick to today's story. I'm officially off from abstain and in the hunt of good food. Therefore, home minister decided to visit the Ramadan market at TTDI.

TTDI stands for Taman Tun Doctor Ismail. Well you need to be extremely careful because there's more than 1 TTDI in Malaysia, the one I'm referring to is at the Kuala Lumpur. This place marked one of the most significant Ramadan Market.

Roughly a month ago, I broke my phone, it had since underwent several minor and major repair, and finally I got a chance to use the phone to take some photo exclusively for this food hunting evening. Look at the amount of crowd, I'm guessing this happen as for the first time we apply absolutely no restriction since the bloody virus.(and apologize on the wrong orientation of the photo, not exactly sure why, but unable to fix it).

TTDI is famous with the traffic jam, with the added Bazaar Ramadan, you are expect to park further, take a good walk before you can start queuing for good food. Be expect to rush through caveman and cavewoman since our Muslim friends are fasting during the day, these feast are actually prepare for them.

When you deal with street food, deal with cooked food is safer. The country is not that bad, but it's easier to deal with cooked food since high temperature kill germs. I'm not saying it's 100% safe, but it's probably thousand times safer than getting a slice of watermelon from these hawker stalls.

At a point of time we have trouble getting through the crowd with the kids, out of safety concern we decided to split. I took the kids and take short rest by the shop houses surrounding the market area, and home minister continue her journey to hunt for satey.

The white fog is not fog, they're actually smoke from the stalls cooking food, preparing them fresh to fellow Muslims can pack food for the family. The entire inner circle of the business center being overwhelmed with food stalls, and the outer ring left with a road width for a small sedan.

The wild east coast blue rice is one of the significant dish from our Malay friends. To those who can take it, the amount of wicked spices such as fermented fish, coconut shave, dried shrimp, with half a roast chicken, this dish can be extremely tasty.

To end today's session with a bag of satay sticks. Why do we pack food from the shop? I have one reason for you, due to respect of our Muslim friends since they're having a full day fasting, and it's only natural I don't eat in front of them.

In this country, a bazaar is held to sell all kinds of products, obviously also food. I like the part in which you explain why they put the food packed, people's beliefs deserve respect, in relation to fasting, it is something that helps the body a lot, besides that they do it for their religion.

Oh yes. Bazaar in different countries are different. Ours are mainly food stalls, a place where hawkers gather and sell food for Ramadan month.

I drive passed by Bazaar Ramadhan on my way to pick up my daughter from school but never stop. Traffic is crazy and everyone seems to park haphazardly. Food hygiene and safety are always big issues for these bazaars. Plenty of sellers just wanna make a quick buck and care little for the food quality.
