VIN ELECTRIC

Earlier today, the government announced that the road and transport department is going on electronics. Which means, we no longer want to print paper road tax sticker for road users. This stir a huge chaos across the country with those who involved in this business. Insurance is one of them.

A friend sent a meme, but I couldn't share it here due to copyright issue. It was a portrait comparison of Vin Diesel from the famous racing movie, and another slim baldy guy with similar outfit, portraying a skinny version of Diesel, and written Vin Electric as description 😂

Here's the thing, Malaysia has been a corrupted country for many decades, by right these road tax sticker should be done 30 years ago. Instead of going paperless, we spend resources on making a one time use sticker that can't be pull out once stuck on the windshield. Best of all, with the hot weather here, the sticker will usually leave the glue stick at the windshield, and crumple the plastic sheet if you try to use a sticky tape to force it back to where it should be 😂

Whilst part of the country cheering for such a "new" improvement, another part throwing rant. I couldn't disagree as what general public concern being another extra things go into the app, and in it goes to the phone. And phone has GPS, and cellular data can pin point where one goes 🤣 those who have extra wife(s) will need to worry if someone can trace where the roadtax currently is.

Nevertheless, I personally believe these stuff are unavoidable. sooner or later, the government will find its way to get into our phone a bug the hell out of us. Either we can choose to ditch the phone, use public transport, stick to cash, or we're fucked either way.
