My Entrepreneurshit

I am going to put this up-front, this whole thing is about a dream I had moments ago. I need to write it down before I forget. Why do I write it down? May be I knew this will corrupt my subconscious mind. No wait, it's in my dream because this is what my subconscious mind projected in my dream, I wanted to write it down and offer a solution to my subconscious mind before I commit to do it with the wrong perception.

The dream was about me and my daughter both sitting at the dinning table. I was busy with my daily work routine as usual, cranking my head trying to solve a billion problems that the company causing me. Note that I am currently an employee for a very successful insurance company which I need to service a total of 138 existing client from the company.

My daughter is taking an initiative to enroll herself into a young entrepreneur program. She is too, cranking ideas and budgeting to setup her first business. It's very natural for young kid to approach their parents asking for help and ideas in setting up business and I am glad she ask me instead of digging from the wrong people and ended up disasters.

Here's NOT what in my dream and I knew it clearly in my mind. I started my entrepreneurship since I was 14. I saved up enough money to purchased an ancient acoustic coupler, somesort of machine similar to modem, I then proceed to make calls to BBS and then started to download pornographs, save them into diskettes and started selling it and distributing amongst the students.

My 1 month total income for a 14 years old came to 500. That was damn a lot of money! Brilliant idea isn't it? Well, here's the breakdown. The machine that uses to download porn was 50 bux salvage from the junkyard. The diskettes a box is 25 bux for the box of 50, cheap and cheerful. I then sold two boxes of diskettes for 5 bux each, containing 5 pictures in each diskettes. 500 - 50, that was 90% profit.

What I failed to realized was modem dial to ISP, and proceed to using IP to communicate with servers, whilst acoustic coupler calls direct to the BBS and collect analog data from their servers, as in making long distance calls depending on where the BBS location. My dad rage, pulling up the phone bill and ask who make multiple calls to the US for long hours, and the phone bull came to a staggering 1500 bux 🤣🤣🤣

There goes my first entrepreneurshit. On top of half year no allowance, its illegal and piracy! I'm just glad i didnt end up in jail, and I failed to realize the acoustic coupler is actually a museum art if i hold on to it just a few years longer. Could have made just as much by selling the device to the telecom museum.

I used to have a cyber cafe and entrusted a staff to run the business by himself, until he uses my company stamp to purchase a new fleet of machine that never deliver to my cafe. Best of all, i didn't even have a copy of his ID. Technically, that staff is NOT even vonsider my legal employment. I also tried to open a food stall and ended up with an engine blew, sitting there finishing my savings before my cousin found out and send me back to my dad.

Back to the dream. I offered my daughter a few advice which I thought I knew it all, and then she asked me back why am i smoking again? How many sticks already?

I didn't realize i even "replased" in my dream. I told her this is the first time, 2nd stick, when I'm cranking for ideas, i tend to smoke. Oh trust me, I didn't inhale it... Wait perhaps 2nd puff. Its a little chokey for first timer. Do you want to try it?

And I woke the fuck up from what I commited in my damn mind. Super scary shit to the max in our subconscious mind. I still don't understand how after 4 years, I can still dreaming of myself relying on cigarettes. I need to write this down and set it straight before i plant further wrong thinking and giving myself more excuses to smoke. I do NOT want to smoke anymore. Even if im offered, i will squeeze the cigarettes, break it and throw it away! I do not want to give it to other people.

What about the dream? As I told you, I do not have any successful story to tell. I need to get my girl to sit down and tell her all the unsuccessful story in my life, so she can prepare for NOT doing what her dad did 😅
