Kuala Lumpur City View
My apologies if this post appear to be less meaty. I've been writing and composing the post for an hour. And by the time I wanted to strike the post button, suddenly the phone decided can't connect to WiFi and had to switch back to cellular data. And the next best thing was, the app crashed, draft not saved.
Without further ado, let's get on with it. It was a Monday where @glecerioberto came for a visit, but ofcourse I can't possibly be giving up this opportunity to meet up fellow Hivers. So I parked my car across at the KLCC.
It's like a 15 minutes walk from the mall to the hotel, but that's all good. Funny thing was, the traffic wasn't as bad as I imagined. This place used to be like on par with Bangkok and Jakarta before pandemic.
I myself actually pretty excited on this short KL tour. Personally, I think been years I haven't come take a walk at the city center. This will be a good time for me to snap photo and share with you guys.
After met with the handsome boy Glebert from the hotel Impiana, we proceed to walk to another nearby reserved area called Kampung Bahru.
Some of the view on the way to the destination we set to have our dinner at the famous Wanjo Restaurant. Surprisingly after we pass the overhead bridge of a 6 lane freeway, immediately came to a place of less developed. Looking back we can still see the two corn stalks(the twin tower that somewhat resemble 2 sticks of corn), and the moon can be seen between them.
We had each of us a plate of nasi lemak(coconut milk extract steamed rice). Too bad I just had an oral treatment couple of days ago, therefore weren't able to chew hard food. The famous ayam rempah is definitely out of my plate.
After dinner, we proceed to walked across the street and have a bowl of Cendol, shaved ice. It was a very long story talking about crypto, some cultural and country history exchange.
That pretty much sum up the evening we had in the city. Before heading back to the hotel, we also took the train and experience the Metro for that one time.
After the train ride, back to KLCC we proceed to the outdoor park and watch the musical fountain for awhile. No music though. Glebert is somewhere around there by the pool side taking photo of the corn stalk.
We proceed to take a slow drive, continue to have some conversation in the car and checking out the rest of the city. I wish I have an extra hand to take photo, but the Merdeka Sqaure is the only pictures I am able to share with you since I stopped driving and we got off the car to stretch ourselves a little.
I like how you talk about crypto and other great topics during your conversation. It was indeed a good experience, I must say.
Thanks. Good experience is finally we're open and have a visitor from other country to stop by 🙂
I was fortunate to spend 10 days in KL. It is truly one of my most favourite cities in the world.
10 days? Should have spend more time going out, rather than the city itself 😁 glad you enjoy it.
Thanks for the compliment, buddy! 😅 And thanks again for the tour!
Ah. Don't mention. Looking forward on your next visit already. I'm just putting these up to make up for a long due post 🤣
I think kuala lumpur is the best couple high tower around this asean, i like it bro 👍👍
I think so too
Beautiful photos brother! 👍
Wish you're here!
Looks very clean and green for a downtown area, but as you mentioned, it sure doesn't look like a busy city center. That blue bike lane is very striking, but it looks like even less cyclists than drivers. I love to see when someone puts in the effort to carefully plan how a building will look when illuminated at night, these things aren't a priority here in Cambodia.
We spent a huge budget on all the decorations, so the "contractors" get a piece of the tax payors money. If you know what I'm saying 🤣

You certainly made KL look amazing. Such a pretty city with all the lights. I hope for a similar tour if Hubby and I end up in KL city 😉
Ping me a week earlier before arrival. I will take day off from work. KL tour won't be long, we need to "get out" a little bit to enjoy the real KL rather than stuck at shopping malls 🤣
👍 will do.
