♥ FACE PRACTICE #25 ♥

¡Hola a todos! Ayer estaba con muchos ánimos de dibujar, terminé un dibujo y comencé este boceto (también comencé otro dibujo), así que acompáñame a ver este proceso!

Hi everyone! Yesterday I was in a great mood to draw, I finished a drawing and started this sketch (I also started another drawing), so join me to see this process!

REFERENCE

Tenía tiempo sin dibujar un rostro asiático, así que quise practicar con esta fotografía. Lo que más me complica de este tipo de rostro son los ojos, ya que los párpados son caídos y casi no se notan. De cierta manera no se dibujan y en el dibujo me parece algo raro ya que estoy acostumbrado a dibujarlos.

I hadn't drawn an Asian face for a long time, so I wanted to practice with this picture. What complicates me the most about this type of face are the eyes, since the eyelids are droopy and almost not noticeable. In a certain way they are not drawn and in the drawing it seems to me something strange since I am used to draw them.

Hasta ahora había marcado gran parte de lo que necesitaba del rostro. Exageré algunos rasgos del rostro porque no quería acercarme tanto al realismo, sino mantener las proporciones de mi estilo dentro del boceto.

So far I had marked much of what I needed from the face. I exaggerated some features of the face because I didn't want to get too close to realism, but to keep the proportions of my style within the sketch.

Aumenté más los ojos para destacar esa mirada seria y llena de brillo, los ojos para mi es una parte primordial de la ilustración porque suelo poner gemas en ellos, creo que es algo que hace destacar mucho mi estilo y estoy muy acostumbrado a hacerlo. Te gusta?

I enlarged the eyes more to highlight that serious look and full of brightness, the eyes for me is a primordial part of the illustration because I usually put gems in them, I think it's something that makes my style stand out a lot and I'm very used to do it. Do you like it?

Agregué unas líneas en forma de trama para dar sombras en el rostro, ciertas líneas le dan textura y dinamismo a la piel, unos círculos para las lúces y las espirales que no pueden faltar. Me hubiese gustado hacer el personaje con el cabello más largo, pero eso haría que no me centrara tanto en el rostro como quería así que deseché la idea.

I added some weft lines to give shadows on the face, some lines to give texture and dynamism to the skin, some circles for the lights and the spirals that can't be missing. I would have liked to make the character with longer hair, but that would make me not focus as much on the face as I wanted, so I discarded the idea.

ILLUSTRATION FINISHED!

DURATION: 2 hours.
PROGRAM: Adobe Photoshop.
I used a graphic tablet: Kamvas 20"

¡Y ahora ya estaba terminado! Fue una práctica muy rápida la verdad, pero le puse el mismo empeño como a todos las que dibujo. El rostro me gustó, creo poder utilizarlo más adelante para otras ilustraciones.

And now it was finished! It was a very quick practice to be honest, but I put the same effort into it as I do with all the ones I draw. I liked the face, I think I can use it later for other illustrations.
