"WORK HARD TO BE RICH"
I think what this topic is missing, is the word THINK because if the topic remains the way it is, then most normal day workers would have been richer. I am not saying normal people with jobs don't think, I am just saying the school system has blinded them.

Think about it;
Our school system teaches us that the safe and better way is to graduate and get safe job and have family and don't take risks on what you love. It's a shame to know that our school system still believes in the old method which will never teach us how to take risk Knowing that risk is actually part of our daily lives. Is there anything we do today that doesn't involve taking of risk? Is this even possible in this 21st century?
We should know that our school system was crafted in the early nineties, and back then, we had the industrial revolution. What this means is that factory owners and high status people wanted more workers, and so they carefully crafted the school system to produce workers, not thinkers, not innovators. We can say that was necessary back then but as at today, such practice is completely useless.
This is because we currently have lots of information at our finger tips, and we can easily find whatever it is we want to know or learn about on the Internet. The question now is why are we still forced to learn random facts that won't in any way help us in the future? Why are we forced to go through the four walls of school learning the same thing over and over again?
We should know that the secret to becoming rich and wealthy is not only to work hard but also make people work hard for you. It is not about working hard alone, it's about your thoughts, innovation and creativity.
Yes school is important but may be we need to restructure it. For instance in Nigeria, a person studying computer science is still being taught with his professor's 1960 textbook 😅. But look at the innovation in computer already. Why don't we change as times changes? Is it wrong for a professor to be up to date with his teachings?
Restructuring our education sector will go a long way to helping us become better. Technology has advanced but we still see students being taught with textbooks of years back instead of that which contains the recent development.
I've always said that the four walls of an institution isn't for everyone because going to school nowadays does not guarantee success in life. What really matters now is our thinking, and surprisingly, our thinking goes a long way to determine if we will be successful or not.
Education is no more the key but just a way to sharpen our knowledge. To succeed we must make good use of our common sense. I think skills are much more important now. The things you can do that bring about change and innovation. So we must learn to think outside the box.
I wrote this as a wake up call, just to advice us to go where our hearts leads us to and not where our mind leads us. This is because our mind is programmed by earlier generations, but our heart isn't.
Thanks for visiting my blog
Well, working hard isn't a guarantee for riches.... Working smart is.
We are gone past the industrial age. This is the information age. Whoever has information makes ends meets
And who ever makes ends meets in the smartest way, gets rich.
We shouldn't work for money for our entire lives. There should be a time where we leverage and delegate roles to other people to work in our place.
This will give us enough time to seek more financial ventures to dip our feet in to help us reach our financial dreams.
Thanks for the wakeup call.
Spot on.. I think everybody needs to see this comment. Thanks so much for your contribution to this topic.
This is just the summary of everything. Kudos dear..
He has started to whine me now 🤣🤣🤣
You know how we dey do am.. 😂
I believe Education has it's own benefits but not just beneficial enough to us.
I feel like we can learn other ways and this idea of four walls is just a scam. Lol. Came across your post through Dreemport.
I'm glad you understand that the four walls of a school is a scam.. 😂..
Education sure has its own benefit.. No doubt..
Thanks for your comment
I don't think school programmed my mind though, I feel like there is a place for school.
Regardless thinking is very essential because certain people might work but never get rich.
That's sort of the "dumbing down" of the population @davidbright, they want little robots to go around and do all the work while they sit back poolside sipping Margaritas.
You also need to realize that a lot of these people had their wealth handed to them from their ancestors, when times were good and they could freely build wealth where now, it's definitely harder to build wealth.
