Choose Wisely
Before falling from the cliff
Before hanging your neck on the rope
Just think once of your family
And your friends with all the memories and hope
Ever imagined the consequences of your act on others
Imagine your crying mother
Your numb father
Taking your ash in a canister
You may have suffered a lot
For that you could cry
But no one ever gave you consent
Consent to die
It’s hard to fight the outside world
While the battle within is way more fierce
Only to end the suffering of yours
Don’t kill yourself, Oh Dear!
You are precious, don’t you see?
You don’t have to die, I plea!
Because you could become the reason of someone’s life
A reason of their happiness, a reason for their smile
At last its your life you shall decide
Die in the utter loneliness of your misery
Or like a brave accept the challenge
And thrive on to survive.

A very strong and reflective poem, the verses should be social causes and creators of consciousness about situations that plague minds, destroying them to the point of despair. In the end a beautiful message of hope and faith.
