Yankee Lake
Last Summer we took a trip out to East Kootenay, British Columbia. Day number one was a hike to Cooper lake, day number two was a hike around the Silver Springs lakes, and here we are are at day number three, a hike around three tiny lakes (coincidentally) inside Premier Provincial park. The first of the three lakes was Yankee Lake. Very calm and serene around here, with gentle rays of sunlight around us. One thing that stood out for me were the tall trees along the trail, wow they were super tall. The weather again for this third hike was pretty good. We certainly lucked out weather wise for these three days. Thanks for stopping by.

You are welcome, my brother.
Love the path between the tall trees! Looks so scenic.
Walking through tall trees is one of my favourite parts of an outing. Thanks for stopping by.
Happy to stop by, as always. Happy to have a fav place from where to take my guilty Canadian pleasure!
Put this one on your list!
Oh, believe me. Most of the posts I see from you get on my bucket list in no time!! Funny how I was speaking with a friend from Canada a few days ago that not even an entire life will be enough for me to see everything on that part of the globe!!
Your friend is correct, too many epic things to do inside Canada!
The tall trees are such a sight to see. They must've been here for many year. The sun is adding a lot of beauty to these shots.
I wonder how many years they have been standing here, impossible to tell. Thanks for looking.
It's so cool to see some of the pictures you posted today, seeing some long trees on this trail is really beautiful my friend.
Thanks @furkanmamplam.
I need a place like this to clear my mind and connect with nature. Interesting reflection on the lake, very good shots @daveks friend!

Appreciate that, nothing better than nature to clear ones's mind!

I see these landscapes and it makes me want to be there and walk through them as well as take pictures, without a doubt these are two activities of nu ja relaxation.

The tall trees look impressive and imposing, it provokes to be there, the day looks beautiful. I liked that you shared the photos also to B&W @daveks 🙌.
Glad you liked them @vezo.
Wow. Look at those tall trees, so amazing to watch. Those pictures, especially the black and white ones are super dope 👌
Glad you liked them!
What a nice shallow lake, looks like you could wade across that part. That's gorgeous! I love seeing those pine trees against the mountain backdrop, and the trail between the tress was a nice shot. It looks better in monochrome to be honest. Great job!
I think you are right, the B&W's look a bit more pleasing. Thanks for stopping on by.
