X marks the spot, the best and most popular destination in Banff National Park that is. If you guessed Moraine Lake, you would be correct. One of the most visited places in the Canadian Rockies. And new for this year is even more restricted access than before. No more ability to drive up and park (even at 5AM in the morning). It’s by shuttle bus reservation only. So if you are wanting to visit here, better buy your tickets online now or wait till next year. Photos taken on one smokey day last Fall.

It's a very beautiful lake if you ask me. I like the calmness and the color. Finally you've left the wild. Beautiful shots.
