Winding through the Rockies
(Edited)
Let’s wind through the Canadian Rockies! Now as much fun as that is, we must pay special attention to the sometimes steep and winding bends and curves. One false move and your doing a acrobatic tumble down the mountain side in your vehicle. Let’s try and avoid that outcome by driving cautiously and defensively. I know it's not always easy, seeing as you are surrounded by breathtaking beauty, nonetheless you gotta focus and pay attention. Now that we got that out of the way, let’s enjoy the scenery. Don’t ask me what the name of that mountain ahead is, because I don’t know. Will do some research and find out hopefully.

I suppose it's a really tranquil setting. The winding nature of the route may make driving in this area challenging, thus one should exercise caution while driving. Thanks for the shots; it's a lovely location.

The view alone is beautiful.. I wanted to ask, is it always snowy every time of the year because I've noticed that the snow is always present on those mountains whenever you're taking a picture?
Yes, the snow on the very tops is present year round. Seems odd when temperatures are hot, but that is how the mountainous regions work.
Yeah I guess because the mountain is closer to the sky, the weather gets cooler as you climb making the snow all year round. It's quite beautiful though. I haven't seen snow before.
I was just on that very road not long ago. Stopped and took a photo on the turnout on that curve. The color of the water. You could brush your teeth with that color. Nice shots!
Yeah, I bet you had a blast. Colours are incredible for sure!
Mount Athabasca?
Truly Breathtaking! I wonder how many people wander off the road with the beauty in front of them? Hard to keep your eyes on it, but, the fear of falling off the mountain is greater!
Fear is a motivator.
