These are the last two photos taken from our trip out to Kananaskis Country, Alberta. Blue skies and white snow seem to go very well together. Not to mention the white clouds against a blue backdrop. If you haven’t heard, I have created a new community called: Colour / Black & White photography community. Created for people that appreciate colour as well as their black & White equivalents. Also, I will be personally curating all qualified posts.

Well, I waffled with which version to lead with, and colour won out by a narrow margin. A very narrow margin. Sometimes I am not sure which I prefer actually. Which is your favourite?

I have to say that this is a hard one, but, I would go with the color first. The details pop nicely in the first shot with the paths defined by the trees on the downward.

In both color shots, I love the way the blue hovers over the mountains. With less atmosphere to scatter, is this just a perception of the sky being so blue?
