What in the World is This?
If you guessed icing on a cake, you would be wrong. Stucco, wrong again. A wave hitting the shoreline, nope. If you guessed melting snow as seen from a chairlift, you would be correct! Here are a few random photos taken as we rode the chairlift express to the top of Standish mountain, Sunshine village, Banff, Alberta. What an incredible day it was, picture perfect weather, blue skies, warm temps, and all the time in the world to enjoy it. Photos taken last July.

Amazing landscape, beautiful sun and scenery as well. I think that I wouldn't have guessed melting snow, I was more to say icing on the cake.
I was thinking snow meeting thawed ground but was perplexed because of the strange texture. Snow in July in Banff? Seems impossible since things get so hot in Calgary then.
