Trouble

It was shaping up to be an excellent day of hiking. The weather was virtually perfect, not too hot, not too cold. This was my first hike in this particular area, and the goal was to hike to Hourglass lake. With approximately 300 metres of elevation gain, and an estimated 3 hours round trip to complete. What could go wrong? Well, this. As soon as I saw this broken warped bridge, my heart sank a little. But just for a moment. In order to cross this creek, we needed to access this walking bridge. Taking a closer look, we determined it was probable to cross without incident. So we did!

Wow this is really a great place.

If this is your first experience (hiking) then I hope you do well in it because everyone has many things that are first experience but if they do it then it becomes our experience.☺️

Thanks for sharing these beautiful nature photos 👏🏻👏🏻

I like both the black and white and color versions of the picture, what comes into my head when I see a bridge like this I immediately think about how it works 😁😁

I love how you took on the challenge of crossing the broken bridge, that's some serious courage. That was definitely an adventure that made the hike even more memorable. Cool and clear photos too brother

The bridge actually looked a bit rickety, buts it's a beautiful piece of nature and the weather was just amazing. The Huawei again with lovely shots

On the easy side of ominous you might say. We all made it across, without a hitch. Thanks.

Beso. lovely fotos. I have loved all fotografía since before I was sticking my own ungloved hands into chemical baths. ahahaha... The transition to digital had been challenging but I am finding my ability to adjust... Out of desire..I really love making fotos.. So I must.. I'd go hiking with you. You wouldn't try to dissuade me from crossing the bridge or climbing the waterfall.

That warped bridge looks cool in monochrome. The bridge does look crossable, but if it were wet it would have been a bad idea! Beautiful shots there, I'm glad you made it back alive! It must have been a nice day in the woods.
