Temperatures have been in the -30°C range for the last week or two. As long as you are dressed appropriately, the weather is tolerable.

Good for you. You used to it. My hands are usually in pain in -7 °C and below that. Even in gloves. The temperature rarely goes below -30 °C, but sometimes it does. Our coldest month is usually the February. The temperature often goes below -10 °C. And sometimes even below -20 °C.

Nowadays the daylight temperature is around 10 °C. The night temperature is around 7 °C and -3 °C. Currently we are in the dawn (04:30 CET), and currently the temperature is 3 °C.

There is no snow this Christmas, but we had some snow in the previous few weeks.

Florida would definitely be warmer but even it is cold right now. Plus you'd have to content with Florida Man.

Lol, temperatures and snow like what you've got would bring this place screeching to a halt. We got a few inches of snow and temps of -15C earlier this week and it turned into a complete shitshow. The city cancelled bus service because they wouldn't work in the cold, people got stuck on the interstate for a day and a half, just a complete mess.

My wife is fond of saying there’s no such thing as bad weather just inappropriate clothing but I have my doubts as theres limits. Looking at these I am glad we made the plan to escape the cold. One winter in eight years was plenty thanks 😊
