Surreal Flow
This is what the Kootenay river looks like, as it rushes through this narrow canyon, just beyond Numa Falls. A very surreal experience to watch this action live from the bridge just above! Honestly I am surprised at the quality of images, captured by my Huawei’s Leica lens camera. I will also publish the dslr pics sometime in the coming months. Maybe I will do a side by side comparison post. I could have watched this symphony of water for hours, but didn't have the extra time. Someday when I am retired, I will take all the time I need, and then some! Thanks for stopping by.

This is amazing ... hard to tell which one is more surreal ... such power in such a narrow gap ... turquoise with diamonds through semi-precious toned rocks, or flowing diamonds cutting silver and obsidian. One would surely die in such a situation ... but what last sights!

There's a little bit of trepidation, maybe I'm wrong. It also looks like it's been raining. The range which the Hawaei can cover is astonishing. I think it's been a long time you posted pictures taken with the DSLR
Probably start the dslr experience in about 3 weeks or so. Looking forward to that, haven't even peaked at those images once.

It is kind of my workflow, publish all the Leica pics first, then go back to the dslr's. When I am retired someday in the future, I will probably publish everything together, maybe.

In the first picture it's hard to tell which direction the water is flowing. Such a rugged land.

Definitely not. You wouldn't come out alive. Further on down though, no problem.
It’s amazing what water can do. We recently stopped at Nakwakto Rapids (you can get a tour boat in the summer months) and went through at half tide with our dinghy. With around 15 knots of current, we were just making progress. The pictures simply don’t do it justice. Slowly starting to add all your posts to my future travel plans in Canada. Thank you for sharing.
You guys are such adventurers, I admire your lifestyle! So many great places to explore inside British Columbia and Alberta. Then of course there is the east coast too..
