Summer or Fall Hiking?

Here are a “Few More” photos from the Ptarmigan cirque hiking trail. Fall colours in full effect. Love it. Like I have mentioned before, Fall and Summer are my two favourite seasons for hiking. Obviously hiking in the Winter (at least in Canada) is not really feasible. Hiking in the Springtime can be just too muddy, unless you are wearing clunky boots to get you through (which is not my idea of a good time). Therefore Summer and Fall take the prize for best hiking conditions. If I had to choose between the two seasons, I guess I would probably choose Summer over Fall, only because of the warmer temperatures. But nothing beats a warm Fall day with blue skies and all the Fall colours to go along with it. This was not one of those days. Missing was the blue sky and warmer temperatures, but I did get the Fall colours!

Nice colour combination. Beauty captures nature in an artistic way. Hours can be spent in here to enjoy to its fullest.

The mixture of the yellow and green color is awesome, haven't experienced what it feels like to know fall.

Awwww.... Every day I learn something new, I didn't know that spring made the trails muddy there in your country, I always imagined that it would be a 100% pleasant season to walk, but now I see that it is not like that...

By the way... This is magical chromaticism in all its extension!... Beautiful photos as always!

I like all seasons, they all have their challenges though but Sun and cooler temperatures are the best. Awesome shot's here my friend.

Beautiful! Those B&W's really bring out the details in the mountains and trees. That trail also looks more interesting in monochrome. Spring is finally arriving, a couple more months until hiking season is here!
