Summer Melt
(Edited)
Summer was nearly over and the glacial ice continues to melt. What a special treat to view, as I made my way back downward. The sun was shimmering off the trickling ice water. So pretty it was, almost magical. I could not see any glacial ice, but it was up there somewhere, just out of view. In these parts, the glaciers grow and shrink with the seasons. Is the glacier itself in decline? No way to tell for sure. The general consensus is that the Canadian Rockies glaciers are in decline, thats the official narrative, I don’t always believe the official narratives though. I do know that cooler and warmer temperatures come in cycles, and these cycles decades long.

We want Henry to live till a ripe ol age.
Tru dat baby, tru dat
This melting glacial ice trickling down is beautiful and it can only be as a result of a rise in temperature.
That is true, thanks for stopping by.
Wow, interesting and very beautiful to look at
Thanks for looking.
Yes Bang @Davek
The magic of the mountains has already allowed you to find exceptional things in the mountain of metallic crystals or fossils?
Once in awhile I think I have seen a trace of gold, but fossils no, I do know there are a lot around Emerald lake, Yoho park though.
These are sick Brother, awesome shot's and I agree with you. Just like us, its the cycle of life... Have a great Sunday...
Thanks man, have a super Sunday!
Those photos make you feel so small compared to the giant mountains don't they? I love seeing the snow melt as in it produces waterfalls and small streams. The glaciers will return, it's just a matter of time until the earth decides it's time for another ice age and nothing we can do can stop it. Humans have been here for a very brief part of earth's long history... Great shots!

Makes one feel small in the grand scope of things. Just an observer. Capturing the outdoors, one mountain at a time. Thanks for dropping by with the usual detailed comments!
