Special Delivery

Let’s take a journey back in time, back to 1927. If you needed something delivered quickly, there was a small fee for that. A fee denominated in a 20 cent stamp (or more, depending on the weight of the package). This stamp was issued in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of Canada’s confederation.
The second 10 cent stamp was issued in 1938. This is the “Memorial Chamber”, located inside the Canadian Parliament’s Peace tower. A national shrine to those who lost their lives during past wars.
The third 10 cent stamp was released in 1942. The Canadian Parliament buildings. If you look closer at the top portion of the stamp, there is a Union Jack and maple leaf sort of combined. Symbolizing the strong relationship between Canada and Great Britain. Which is your favourite stamp?

Looks like you had done a good lot of research in your country stamp. This would definitely be informative to someone. Nice collection. Are these still existing???

These ones would not be in circulation anymore. But, you could still use them today if you wanted to. You would be far better off to use a “non-collector” type stamp for mailing items today.

The great relationship between the Canada and UK is why Canada still have some usage of coin with the picture of the queen.

Nice ones, for me would be the first one for sure, you got the horse, the train, ship and the planes all in one and don't let me forget the slay dogs and the gorgeous mountain peak. Keep these coming too, I for one enjoy them. Have a great day my friend.

First is my favourite as well. Shows you what mode of transportation was used to get that special delivery out. Thanks.

I like the first one with the train and old west motif, that is really cool! Plus you get the early planes, dog sled and what looks like the Titanic as well. Nice! The other two are nice as well. They just don't make them like they used to! You have a nice collection!
