Sinclair Pass
(Edited)
To enter the town of Radium, British Columbia, one must pass through these massive canyon walls. This is Sinclair Pass. Nothing quite like these massive rock walls, they are very intimidating and cool to drive through. One of the main attractions in Radium, are the “Radium Hot Springs”. A very popular attraction here inside Kootenay National Park. Grab a towel, put on your trunks, hop in, and soak in the natural minerals seeping out of the water! They say the minerals have a soothing healing affect on your body, why not give it a try sometime.

At a glance, the way looks adventurous with twists and turns. But a classic view with bright colour contrasts. Very interesting to know about the mineral healer. Rarely do we get something like this.
The Canadian Rockies parks have 3 different "hot springs", they are quite prevalent. A very interesting place to visit. Thanks for looking.
Very pretty, we don't have any mountains in my country so it's always extra nice seeing them when I'm on holidays
One of my favourite things about Canada is our mountains. Love em. Thanks for stopping by.
Quite a nice place with pretty cool photography results.Every picture that you show certainly has extraordinary beauty.Places in the area where you live also have very beautiful views.
A beautiful place I will be returning to again and again, thanks.
I wanted to ask: was the rock split in two and the road was built in-between, or is this a natural rocky terrain that by chance a space is in-between two rocks and a road was built?
Very epic place to actually drive through.
It is a natural rock formation with just enoug room to built a highway through it! Neat eh? Really fun to drive through. Thanks for stopping by.
Those are pretty pictures! I always get a bit nervous going through those passes, knowing there's always the remote chance a boulder could land on you... I knew a couple once that had one come down on the hood of their car in Wyoming.
That's great place to visit!

Exactly how I feel too! Never know when that random rogue stone or rock comes down, or even when it all comes down someday. Thanks for the DUO!
Just wrote a post about Olive Lake about 10km up the pass from there. Never knew it was called Sinclair Pass, guess we just take photos and don't read the signs.
The Juniper trail through there gets you some really good views of the area (I'll post about it one day). We didn't stop to take a dip in the Radium Springs and opted for the Fairmont Springs instead.
How about you?
Truth be told, had to do some quick research on that. We did hit the springs twice, it was good, but I thought the water could have a bit hotter actually. How was Fairmont?
Fairmont is big, there's one big hot tub which is a tolerable temperature and a couple larger swimming pools that are not hot. The views are better.
