Sinclair Canyon Trail

The very first short hike, out of the gate here in Radium, (East Kootenay, British Columbia) is right here in the valley, inside the city limits. Once you venture downward, it really feels like you are far from the city. Really cool. The weather was outstanding as well, what more could we want? This short hike only took about an hour or so, and was great for a warm up. I’m really starting to love this little town. Maybe we will hit the hot springs tonight!

Stunning, that pond looks quite clear and dashing. It looks like a lot of people do not really come here, and it truly appear as if you're far away from the city. Nice shots too.

We only saw a few other people on the trail, which was nice. Thanks for looking.

What a pretty creek trail... That is awesome. I love the clear water in the creek and the pines in the background. Has winter set in it's ugly head up your way yet?

It's funny that the first picture in black and white is showing a cool wavy pattern in the sky which I don't see in the colored one.
You really live in/near a lovely environment.

You are right, it renders a bit differently in black and white, especially with this phone camera. Thanks for the visit.

Friend, I noticed that a large number of frames are on the phone. I decided to see what kind of model it is, and it is a little old. In my country, a used one can be found for $150-200. But I remember that you still have a sony. I would like to ask why there are so many frames from the phone and not from the camera. Because I can't believe that you can shoot so beautifully on a phone)

Good question. Usually what I do is photograph with both phone and Sony simultaneously. First I publish the phone photos, then when I have completely finished, I begin to publish the Sony ones. The phone photos are easier to edit, the Sony's more time consuming, but they are better quality. That is my work flow..I usually never even look at the Sony photos until I begin, sometime 6 months later (it's fun).

Heh) It's interesting, in principle I completely understand you, sometimes there is not always time for a photo on the camera. And sometimes I use the phone myself
