Shoreline “Debris”

(Edited)

To some, it may be called shoreline “debris”, but to me, it is shoreline “art”. Beautiful in fact! A work of art. Once upon a time ago, a strong healthy tree perhaps, but now just a fallen piece of wood. How long will it rest here? How many years did it live while alive? How many years till it becomes smaller pieces of driftwood? How many birds and squirrels called it home? One can only guess. For now I will appreciate its place in nature at this time. Beauty and art, one in the same. The cycle of life continues. Photos taken inside Kananaskis country, Alberta, Canada.

I think I prefer color photography when it comes to nature. It tells the story perfectly with alot of emotions and to me that’s what art is about.

Yes, I understand that. I mostly prefer colour myself, but black and white is a close second.

Most importantly, this place is very beautiful,And it's true as you said about this wood,Birds can be a place and squirrels can play.

Are you still in elbow Lake? I think the shoreline art is so beautiful and I also think that a lot of trees lived by that shoreline in the past.

Beautiful shots! That contrast in black and white looks great with the fallen tree. Circle of life, nothing lives forever.
