Today, I’m bringing you Serenity. Serenity from Yankee Lake, Premier Provincial park, East Kootenay, British Columbia. How much does this Serenity cost you may ask? Well, it is free. Only the cost of your fuel to get here. Some may travel to Hawaii to encounter Serenity, some may go to Mexico, others to the Serengeti or perhaps even to the Galápagos Islands. For me, it’s in my backyard, here in Canada.

I think I like the B&W versions of the top 2 best. The first with the reflection is a bit of a mind-bender, since the sky is only visible upside-down. The second, I like the variety of textures. I like the portraits in color though.

Serenity and surreal serenity ... the boundary between the reflection of the sky and the mountains, and how the photo with the little lily pads and the wood and stones looks beneath the waters, are striking ... but still peaceful.

It's a beautiful place. So there aren't barriers to entry or maybe gate keepers that collects a sort of entry fee before they let you in?
In this park, no, but some provincial parks do charge. The national parks have a fee all the time, therefore I buy a yearly pass.
A yearly pass? This means you have to visit often to make good use of your money
