Rocky Terrain
Walking through Jura Canyon, one thing that struck me was the incredibly rocky terrain. I suppose that really it shouldn’t surprise me that much, as this is what gets leftover after a season of glacial water rushing through the valley, then into the Bow river below. Definitely proper footwear is a must to navigate your way through the canyon. This time of year there was just barely a trickle of water coming down. I wonder what it looks in June? Someday I will need to return and find out. These particular photos were taken mid September last year.

The stones looks really sharp and edgy and this calls for a proper solid hiking footwear. The sun also looked very mild, the tall plants provides very good shades.
Those stones can even pierce through toughest boots. 😂
Yes, you’d be surprised how the sharp rocks can rip up your footwear.

Those Black and white pictures are awesome!! They truly look like from a very old movie, but with a perfect quality!

Black and white or color, you just cannot take the rush I feel looking at these shots. The focus, sandwiched in between your stunning foreground and background seals the deal.
Love these!
If you go in June, bring those water shoes! I think you probably went at the best time of year from what I hear. I think they actually thought they could hike the creek trail. :) I can look at those rocks and say that the spring runoff would be no bueno for me!!
Gorgeous shots.
Yeah, if I was there in June, then I would be spectating from the rivers edge. Which would really be cool actually. Thanks @dswigle
Man a Cr250 launching off that rock edge, sweeet, okay with a parachute.
That's pretty coo too.
These rocks and stones are looking amazing and give a true sense of amazing nature. thanks for sharing with us.
It was a fantastic little hiking experience.
Looks like a rough and rugged place to go for a stroll!
