Red Rock Camera Roll

(Edited)

What a blast, it was so much fun checking out the Red Rock canyon. A photographers paradise for colourful photos. I could have spent another hour here just taking more and more photos. At some point though, the people I came with would get fed up with me, so only a few photos taken this time. Next time I come, it will be solo, and I’ll take my sweet ol time. Maybe even take off the shoes and dip the toes in the warm water. Someday I will be out and about on my on schedule, and no need to hurry, no need to rush back to work, no need to wear a watch…someday.

That's a beautiful spot! Such beautiful rock formations. You don't think of Canada for red rocks, you think southern Utah and north Arizona. That's really cool!

You got some really nice pictures, next time it would be nice to enjoy and dip in your feet. It looks like a great place to just take it easy.

Thanks for sharing!

I wonder if it's a remnant of the old rocky mountains? Outside of Denver they have lots of red rocks near the mountains that were all that's left of an old mountain range that pre-dated the current mountains. but had all but eroded away over 300 million years!

They are really neat to explore. Someday I need to head down to the southwest and check it out.
